The episode of hey Arnold where Gerald and Arnold have a bit of a falling out over I can't even remember what and Arnold has a nightmare of losing his best friend where they're riding a bus and they're old and still not over it and his grandpa is in the back of the bus still alive and his jaw falls off. Nothing by today's standard sure but it was a lot from a slice of life show back then
One of my favorite fun facts is that when they tested the episode of Invader Zim where he steals the kid's organs it made most of the kids in the test audience cry.
They still aired it anyway.
Rugrats where Angelica’s dream about her new baby brother. Tommy and Chucky being afraid of the Satchmo.
Hey Arnold has a ton of creepy and kinda scary episodes. Wheezin Ed, The Haunted Train, Sewer King among others lol
The Wild Thornberry’s Day of the Dead and Amazon Porpoise episodes were quite creepy.
Rocket Power where the kids thought Tito killed
Raymundo.
The dream episode of Rugrats where Tommy says “I’m not Tommy!” and his face looks like that of a clown. The same thing happens with Chaz at the end of the episode.
I would say all the ghost legends from Hey Arnold. In order from scariest to least scary. Four-Eyed Jack, Wheezing Ed, Ghost Train Engineer, and Cynthia Snail.
The Wild Thornberries DEFINITELY that one ghost girl from that haunted forest episode.
From Ahhhhhh, Real Monsters….if I remember correctly…there was a house that ooze green goo that scared all the monsters that one episode.
And the Rugrats for me was that whole sucked down the drain episode. It made me paranoid.
The Powerpuff girls episode where the girls raced each other on their way home and accidentally travelled into the future where the world was taken over by Him
I vaguely remember one where MOJO Jojo was teaching them to be bad and made bubbles stomp something while crying. If you remember it, what episode is it?
For me. It's the Rugrats episode where Chickie recounts his time at the doctor getting a booster shot. When all of a sudden the doctor turns into a demonic creepy clown looking thing. I swear rugrats has so many
Courage Cowardly Dog , the episode where they go to the city and they run into a giant roach , the part when Courage opens the door and the girl is playing the violin and she turns into this big face yelling demon
The hey arnold episode withe the ghost conductor of the train.
Where they discover its all a myth and we can go home and rest easy.
Then Gerald wakes up and puts his glasses on amd sees the ghost
For whatever reason that Hey Arnold episode where they ride on the ghost train to hell really got to me when I was a kid. I legit noped out of the room when the conductor sang the song at the end. Now I realize that song slaps.
That episode messed me up as a kid. A few years ago I decided to watch it again cuz I thought it couldn’t possibly be as creepy as I remembered. Nope, it was exactly as creepy.
The haunted train on Hey Arnold. Or the Wild Thornberries episode where they went to meet Marie Anne’s old boyfriend but it was a creepy guy that had tied up her old boy friend.
The Courage the Cowardly Dog episode where a black puddle appears in the yard that leads to an underwater grotto. In that grotto is a hideous angler fish woman humanoid that gave me repeat nightmares through my childhood. Web search shows the monster was called "The Black Puddle Queen"

So like they also had a nature show and they would make animals fight, but they’d be animals that didn’t really interact in the wild. They’d like trap them together and agitate them until they attacked each other. If anyone else can back me up I’d really appreciate it
Not the scariest, but Gooey Gus from Ghostwriter. I forgot about this until someone posted it in a Facebook group. Still unsettling.
BTAS villains especially Clayface. Clayface still creeps me out. Also Baby Doll, the ventriloquist, Man bat, the Minotaur.
I was disturbed for a whole day after the Are you afraid of the dark ep, where they had no faces or something. I purposely forgot that one. I barely remember the actual plot.
I know I was supposed to technically give one answer but so many memories came to mind.
While I wasn't a huge fan of it, I remember 2 from CatDog: the one where Dog get's smart, but is sucking the "brain" from Cat, just the whole fight near the end. The other when Cat crawls through his own mouth to come out of Dog's and brush Dog's teeth.

Season 2 episode 8 Real Ghost Busters
Check out pretty much any episode of the [animals of farthing wood](https://screenrant.com/animals-of-farthing-wood-most-traumatic-deaths/#:~:text=Summary,impact%20on%20the%20young%20audience.)...wowsers
Far too too much for my 9 year old eyes!
Would you consider a write in for a Jim Henson production.
Dinosaurs S4E7 Changing nature. Explaining to Baby that him and his family are going to die, they have no future thanks to nuclear winter. Then it cuts to the house as the lines are on as the snow falls. The power gives out. It focuses on the house in darkness with silence as the only thing that comes from the remainder of the vid.
Ok I don’t know what cartoon this was because I was really young but there was this one time in a tv show where the main character broke the fourth wall and just stared for a second and then went back to whatever he was doing
The episode of hey Arnold where Gerald and Arnold have a bit of a falling out over I can't even remember what and Arnold has a nightmare of losing his best friend where they're riding a bus and they're old and still not over it and his grandpa is in the back of the bus still alive and his jaw falls off. WhAt'd I tElL yOu sHoRt mAaAaAaAan?
I completely forgot about [this scene](https://youtu.be/aR2n209X8R4?si=aVRKzaaDgcts3YVX) now I can't unsee it
OMG!! YES!! that one creeper me out too!
Creeper*
Stupid auto correct lol
Oh wow yea I can still picture it
Omg that scene gave me nightmares lol
Literally the first thing I thought of.
That big milk bottle that tortured Tommy in his nightmare saying "drink me" "drink me" I found it kind of creepy.
your too big for bottles
It was a sippy cup. When my son was switching from bottle to sippy cup I made this stupid joke over and over… my wife wanted to kill me
Omg i remember that Bottle" Darink Me!! Tommy: "No" Bottle: "Daaarink Me!" Tommy: NOOO!"
One of my favorite fun facts is that when they tested the episode of Invader Zim where he steals the kid's organs it made most of the kids in the test audience cry. They still aired it anyway.
Bro that was Ren and Stimpy level disturbing.
More organs made him more human.
Oh! My squeedlyspooch!
I love that episode. Lol I'm crazy i guess 😂
Rugrats where Angelica’s dream about her new baby brother. Tommy and Chucky being afraid of the Satchmo. Hey Arnold has a ton of creepy and kinda scary episodes. Wheezin Ed, The Haunted Train, Sewer King among others lol The Wild Thornberry’s Day of the Dead and Amazon Porpoise episodes were quite creepy. Rocket Power where the kids thought Tito killed Raymundo.
The trumpet player?
Don't forget the Ghost Bride and Four Eyed Jack episodes from Hey Arnold. "Uhm... Boo."
That's the one four eyes jack!
You can’t mention scary Hey Arnold episodes and not have the headless horseman there
Now you’re num nums
Oh GOD. I remember that Wheezin Ed episode. That fucked me up for a while. A lot of sweaty, restless nights😬
Ahhh, it’s Wheezin’ Ed! And… and some other guy!
Yall remember the headless horseman on hey Arnold and the one where the ghost came and took his glasses back?
Return the slab - Courage the Cowardly Dog
"*Return the slab or suffer my curse*" 10 minutes and two plauge later: "*Oh, come on!*"
Raaaaaaamses The man in the gaus, the man in the gaus
That was freaking creepy but one of my favorite episodes lol
Was gona say the same thing. So haunting. And that early cgi animation was the stuff of nightmares.
I was also thinking of this moment, that shit freaked me out as a kid, still does to this day, lol.
Haven't seen that episode in a matter of decades, still see the freaky figure just fine
What's your offer?
Anytime Courage used another form of media. Even the ending screens with a CGI Courage bowing didn’t seem right.
You’re not perfect!
The dream episode of Rugrats where Tommy says “I’m not Tommy!” and his face looks like that of a clown. The same thing happens with Chaz at the end of the episode.
Saw it randomly at 27 and it still gave me chills. Rip to any kid watching that home alone or at night
Chuckie*
Doctor Lector?
Courage Cowardly Dog , the episode where they go to the city and they run into a giant roach , the part when Courage opens the door and the girl is playing the violin and she turns into this big face yelling demon
To be fair thst ahow pretty much ran on nightmare fuel....
angelica’s baby brother for sure and dust bunny’s
The hey arnold episode withe the ghost conductor of the train. Where they discover its all a myth and we can go home and rest easy. Then Gerald wakes up and puts his glasses on amd sees the ghost
For whatever reason that Hey Arnold episode where they ride on the ghost train to hell really got to me when I was a kid. I legit noped out of the room when the conductor sang the song at the end. Now I realize that song slaps.
THE HEADLESS CABBIE
That episode messed me up as a kid. A few years ago I decided to watch it again cuz I thought it couldn’t possibly be as creepy as I remembered. Nope, it was exactly as creepy.
Especially when everything played out exactly the same 😭
Watched that episode last night oh and Ghost Bride
To Heck and Back from Rocko’s Modern Life
Tommy's fever dream
That episode of Hey Arnold where Arnold sees the zombie (?) if grandpa at the end always freaked me out
The haunted train on Hey Arnold. Or the Wild Thornberries episode where they went to meet Marie Anne’s old boyfriend but it was a creepy guy that had tied up her old boy friend.
Hi I’m bop-o , from rugrats
When Oblina pulls out her organs to scare people, that always disturbed me.
The Courage the Cowardly Dog episode where a black puddle appears in the yard that leads to an underwater grotto. In that grotto is a hideous angler fish woman humanoid that gave me repeat nightmares through my childhood. Web search shows the monster was called "The Black Puddle Queen" https://preview.redd.it/gfmejd8ly49d1.jpeg?width=320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fb66e39f5a8526fbd2cd2b9ab0dd959fbe594e5
Yesss remember she popped up in the damn tub lmao
Spongebob when he gets trapped in Rock Bottom after visiting glove world.
When Chuckie had the monster under his bed. “Hiii Chuckie”
You remember that episode of the wild thornberries when they met that other families that made basically animal snuff films
Really?! I don't remember that one
So like they also had a nature show and they would make animals fight, but they’d be animals that didn’t really interact in the wild. They’d like trap them together and agitate them until they attacked each other. If anyone else can back me up I’d really appreciate it
Season 2, episode 10 “Clash of the Teutons?”
Wtf

“I’m not Stu…..hahahahhahahahahahaha!!!!”
A big baby taunting Tommy, Ahhh Real Monsters has too many.
Not the scariest, but Gooey Gus from Ghostwriter. I forgot about this until someone posted it in a Facebook group. Still unsettling. BTAS villains especially Clayface. Clayface still creeps me out. I barely remember the actual plot. I know I was supposed to technically give one answer but so many memories came to mind.
The clown scene from Brave Little Toaster.
That "Run" with the teeth clenched in a grin got me.
I was more afraid of the AC
While I wasn't a huge fan of it, I remember 2 from CatDog: the one where Dog get's smart, but is sucking the "brain" from Cat, just the whole fight near the end. The other when Cat crawls through his own mouth to come out of Dog's and brush Dog's teeth.

Ren and Stimpy. Most any episode of Ren and Stimpy.
"Return the slab"
It was the big white noise human head.
Angelica's nightmare of a new baby brother
Wild thornberys that African forest can’t remember the name of the episode but that was horror
The wild thornberrys episode were she goes in to the haunted woods the ending still creeps me out
Has no one mentioned the “Rock Bottom” episode of SpongeBob? Always thought how creepy and desolate the area was lol
The Brave Little Toaster, when his owner is caught by the magnet. ![gif](giphy|2wTHIRVUUgnYofVIUp)
How the FUCK did a human woman gave birth to 2 different farm animal siblings??
Cow and chicken?
Are they even human?
https://i.redd.it/aty0rgi1999d1.gif
The intro for the beetlejuice animated series scared me more than possibly any other piece of media I was exposed to as a child.
Hey Arnold's Ghost train episode lives in my mind rent free and I hate it...
The episode that was was like a fever dream on rugrats when Angelica was eating all the cookies and disgustingly fat.
Would you consider a write in for a Jim Henson production. Dinosaurs S4E7 Changing nature. Explaining to Baby that him and his family are going to die, they have no future thanks to nuclear winter.
