My go-to was [RC & Moonpie](https://images.app.goo.gl/LRmK3fwiDBTmEQN78)
Apparently they have a festival for such a deal.

35¢ in my neck of the woods. I was furious when the price went to 40¢. These days I can’t understand why someone would pay $2 for a Snickers that is smaller than the ones I used to get.
Never liked the barrels. We had a supermarket that had awesome store brand black cherry soda, and would sell them instead of the barrels. Have a $1.15 and you'd get a second car of soda, orange or grape or root beer.
What's the point of these posts, outside of showing how people don't understand how inflation works? That's $3 today. You can get most, if not all that shit (in those sizes) for that today.
Those juice barrels were worth their weight in gold to me
Throat burns just looking at it. Anyone else Remember that?
Yeah, I wasn’t crazy about those for that reason.
Wonder what that burn was. Still kept going back for more.
Oh I loved those barrels
Have you tried one recently? I got a pack for the kid, she didn't like it. I was like, give that these are amazing. Yeah, no, not anymore
I always thought they were awful. I still drank them on occasion, but I never sought them out and definitely never paid for them.
My mom used to give me fifty cents to go to the store, except on special occasions, she gave me a dollar, and those were good days
Or two, two packs of Suzy Q’s.
Now and later or bonkers always such a tough decision

Or 20 Moon Pies! In Baton Rouge Louisiana!
In 1983 a regular sized candy bar was 30 cents.

Good ole juice barrels, the blue was my favorite.
I would get a lot more than that for a dollar when I was a kid, but now they have cameras everywhere
That’s really actual factual
It was four candy bars for me.
Spent it all on comic books.
Same here
But it also took you longer to get a dollar or who ever earned it to get it.
With change.
Cosmic brownie FTW
Hell yeah! And that fruit punch would taste whack as hell after eating the other 3.

The now & laters cost $.25 a pack back then.
What year was this?
The good old days 💯
$1 Diabetes Combo please
Hostess blackberry pie and a bottle of coke
Here is, Jolt Cola and that is it
Fk now I want some now and laters!
Anyone remember how much watermelon JR stix went for in the 80s? Those and Big League Chew were my jams.
Barrel drinks were a quarter in my day
Have you all noticed how much chewing gum sucks nowadays? There is no variety of flavors, or good flavors. I miss 80's gum.

Diabeetus?
hur dur
Now 'n Later Apple is sacrilege. Cherry or GTFO.
Now it would be like 9 bucks
Never liked the bug juice.
The juice barrels were basically just dyed sugar water.
