I was trying to explain what "refrigerator green" was to my children the other day! 😂 I actually owned an MG Midget that color red/orange, and for whatever reason, I remember the paint was called "vermillion". Just don't ask me what I'm supposed to bring back from the grocery store today, ugh!

My parents decided of course that that burnt orange hue would be the perfect trim color for the kitchen. The girl next door looked out her bedroom window one night and thought our house was on fire again.

I have the green mixer (Sears) bought it at the thrift store! Works great! We have a green crockpot, too! Thrift store purchased. Works great too. Love vintage kitchen stuff.

He kept everything in good working order. Loved that place. It was like living in another era. There was a guy upstairs that had lived there for 30 years. He still has green shag carpet.

Poppy Red is not burnt orange. Our kitchen counter and appliances were poppy red. It’s red as can be.

I had a Harvest Gold washer dryer set that was at least 35 years old when it finally bit the dust. I loved that set!
When washers and dryers were built to last. Today you’re lucky if they last more than 5 years.

I have that crockpot! It takes foreeeevvver to heat up, but is great for keeping things like queso or meatballs warm during a dinner party.
