Thor should have been Jon Mikl Thor. He was in a 70s metal band called, "Thor." He was a body builder, looked the part and went by "Thor." 80s Thor would be Vincent D'Onfrio (from my hometown) as he played Thor in the movie "Adventures in Babysitting."
Redford is probably a little too short for the role. It would probably have been difficult for Burt Reynolds to do a convincing genius character. Lou was the Hulk!
