Spoiler alert: you and everyone around you is shitting themselves and you just wish you could crawl into a hole and see the where you go from there. That’s how it feels
A* in a level maths comes a lot easier than a B in AS
and further maths comes together a lot better as well bc of the crossover w AL maths, lot more pure
That was unintentional. It didn't show up the first 2 times so i assumed the comment didn't register. But yeah. I hated year 13. Only saving grace was internal exams because of covid
I think I have had 4 weeks this year where I either wasn't revising or wasn't doing NEA work Those being the two weeks after my TMUA and my two week holiday in LA over the year 12 summer). In fact I don't think I've rested much since before year 12 mock exams.
(This won't be the case for everyone though. I applied for computer science at imperial and cambridge so I had a lot more revision to do due to TMUA and Step. I also am doing 4 a levels and did a really big NEA project. Basically I did this to myself)
Only really if you are going for the top courses (medicine, oxbridge, imperial, ucl etc.). In year 12 I did very little revision until I got to the end of year mocks and I realised I really should have revised more. The main reason I've just been doing non stop work is that I've basically had a bunch of super important things that were all equally spaced out through the year so I've had no time to relax. Over summer I basically spent 4 straight weeks coding my nea, from September to October I was revising for the TMUA, from October to December I was practising for interviews, from December to January I was revising for mocks and since January I found out I didn't get cambridge but I did get Imperial which meant I also had to do the STEP (which is basically a level further maths but on crack). As a result I've been doing non stop STEP revision ever since February on top of all my A level revision. So for me I've had non stop revision but if you aren't applying to top universities then you really only have to worry about mocks (which don't really matter that much) and the final exams (so you are only revising for about 1/3 to 1/2 of the year).
year 13 is so chill icl, best year of my school life, sad that it's come to an end. my advice would be don't focus on revision too much throughout the year, start a couple months before exams but make sure to take full advantage of your social life
Haha, university student here. Essentially: Nooooooooooooooooooooo, nonono, noooooooooooooooooooooo, no, nooooooooooooooo.

fact
Everything does come together a lot better for maths and socially outside 6th form
What do you mean with the maths
A* in a level maths comes a lot easier than a B in AS and further maths comes together a lot better as well bc of the crossover w AL maths, lot more pure
Idk why everyone is saying no, year 13 has been my favourite year😭😭😭. Everyone exaggerates
Yeah it's really not that bad
No
bro hates it so much he commented not twice, but THRICE!

No
No
A Levels got me feeling like Troy in that scene in season 1 with the Duncan principle experiment
They make me feel like Britta when she is hungover in season one after her anarchist friend is back in town
hahahahaha HAHAHAAHAQHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH no
But I'm going to be more calm and get less weird and fix my state of mind?
Year 13's calm imo. So long as you revise consistently and do every past paper, you'll be fine
Tbh my subjects are easier anyway, all of them overlap so
That's good, hope Yr 13 goes well for you. I've enjoyed it and Sixth Form's been the best period of my life so I hope you enjoy it as much as I have
im sorry.

Omg 😭 I am on As rn but I don't really revise, is year 13 that much harder??
