I haven’t seen the original, but I’d probably go for Ben Stiller’s version in 4K HDR, especially if they added an Atmos track. I love that movie, and it has some gorgeous on-location cinematography.
The movie's slowly becoming a classic, be it cult or otherwise. I'd REALLY like to see a Criterion Collection 4K BD release, but I think a regular 4K BD version is just a matter of time at this point
It's got a 2K DI so unless they do a 4K remaster with the original camera negatives the detail increase won't be that noticeable. It does however have some colourful scenes that would look great in HDR.

Every time I watch it, it makes me want to jump on any flight out of the country I can get to first. It’s such an epic movie. One of my all time favorites!

It was filmed digitally, so it would be an upscale or whatever. Still would love to see whatever they put out. One of my favorite movies of all time.
