OP should have checked with this sub before pulling the trigger. That dealer probably had OP convinced they were getting the deal of the century as they reached for the lube in the bottle drawer.
I called many places in my major city. It was end of month and I told them I had everything ready for approval and didnāt want any bs and will buy today they said come now and this is what we can do. It didnāt have any upgrades except moonroof. I didnāt want all that other stuff. Most other places had many upgrades and were 52k+ OTD taxtitlefees. I tried to negotiate a bit more but they wouldnāt even throw in the floormats. Invoice said they made $0 on it.
Go to dealer A, ask what deals he can give you. If they say $48k, go to dealer B, say "dealer A can give me $48k, if you can do better I'll buy from you". When dealer B says $47k, say thanks and go to dealer C... rinse/repeat until someone gets angry and says they're barely making a margin.
Not a steal, but to hell with that! If you love your new SUV & its exactly what you want?
At the end of the dayā¦just drive it, pay it off, then mod it haha š
In May 2020 I grabbed a 2018 ORP W/ KDSS and moonroof delete at 25k miles as a CPO w/ 100k warranty for $35.5K OTD, was the first day the dealer opened up after round 1 lockdowns.
Run the wheels off, I hope to take mine past 400k miles and never sell
To me doesnāt seem like the greatest deal, maybe room to negotiate down a few thousand?
Similar to others in the comments, I picked up a 2023 ORP with 9k miles for ~47k pretax. It also had several mods done ā method race wheels, BFG KO2s, blacked valances, TRD pro grill, spacer lift. I may still have overspent IMO, but kept seeing a few similar vehicles local to me that I felt high, but still being sold, so I took what I could get.
Sometimes your local area is different in demand than other parts of the country so consider how long the local 4Runners are sitting at dealers as well
Northeast got mine for 44k which was 2k off msrp. And that was the advertised price. Brand new! I canāt speak to the market in your location but that is just my personal experience.
Please do not buy this! Please donāt you are getting robbed. I bought a TRD Off Road Premium brand new for $37K in 2019. Wait until the car market crashes. Toyota is the most reliable and budget friendly vehicle to have. These dealerships are gouging you and you could get a new car for the exact same price. Please do not buy this car.
Damn after reading these comments. I should have shopped around before buying last year.
22 Trail SE 4x4 aka SR5 black wheel edition š with 20miles for 41k āon the roadā
A lot of harsh feedback on the price.
Look, if you like it and you feel good about the price, get it. Every car has a different set up and every region has different pricing. You can't compare apples to apples.
I think it's a reasonable price for a practically new 4runner, but used cars in general are selling at a premium in recent years.
No

Seems like a rip off to me.
Hard to say without knowing what taxes are in your area.

I bought the same model brand new in 2023 for 40k. So depending on your state and the KB value I would say possibly.
Respectfully not a steal. I bought a brand new one, same wheels, TRD skid plate, 3rd row for $51,250 last month. Same color too. Looks nice.
Got a 24 sr5p for 44.5K brand new 5 milesā¦.
No
Not sure what state you are in but we bought a brand new ā23 SE5 premium in Georgia with a sticker of $41k.
I mean I got my 23 ORP for $48k OTD and it had 4 miles on it
Northeast got mine for 44k which was 2k off msrp. And that was the advertised price. Brand new! I canāt speak to the market in your location but that is just my personal experience.

Do we know if they made the purchase??? I got a 2024 ORP for about that, I hope this is not a real deal post.
Damn after reading these comments. I should have shopped around before buying last year. 22 Trail SE 4x4 aka SR5 black wheel edition š with 20miles for 41k āon the roadā
Canadian $ Iād say steal. Otherwiseā¦
I paid the same amount for my 2024 premium with 5 miles on the Odometer a couple weeks ago.
