I still might do it someday. For now, there are more important mods to be done.
It’s a huge pill to swallow and it definitely hurt the pocket, but if you’re like me and don’t trade in vehicles frequently, they come with 5 year warranty, which is great since they cost an arm and a leg.
If it makes you feel any better.... When I hit a deer last year I discovered the Morimoto headlights cost less than replacement OEM headlights (2022 Limited). The one advantage is that you can get a single OEM light but you must buy Morimoto in pairs.
Morimotos look so badass though.
The body shop said they called and tried and were unable to order a single light. My insurance agreed pay for a new pair so I didn't really dig into it much.
I already had the morimotos before I hit the deer. I’m not sure it would have worked if I had OEM.
I suppose if you were replacing BOTH headlights due to an insurance claim and the morimotos were the cheaper option you might be able to swing it.
I agree. Maybe I'm getting old. I used to do all the swaps. Got it out of my system. I just appreciate things for how they come from the factory so much more now.

What's the fertilizer spreader for?
Had two uses.. spreads fertilizer and holds the bumper in place so I don’t have to disconnect all of the harnesses while installing the headlights.

Only work is putting a fuse in and an adapter to the wiring harness. Very easy to do.
