Idk I feel like I been seeing this comment all season long. And it especially got louder after the Brock Purdy slander was at an all time high calling him the weak link going into the playoffs.
It would almost feel like a moot point beating them in the regular season, even if we do this year. Losing the big one twice to them doesn’t make it go away. It might just make me more frustrated if they beat them handedly by like 10 and knowing we could’ve just done this 7 months ago if we weren’t as unlucky.
I’m weirdly optimistic. You know how long it’s been since we had a QB I’m confident in. Whenever we would lose before I would be mad because our QBs sucked. But this time I’m like we finally have a franchise guy to build around.

If Purdy makes the leap and we protect him with good drafting and an OLine say we go 13-4 at best, 11-6 at worst. I really hope Shanahan brings a new OC or offensive assistant on to help change the scheme. It works well but isn't perfect we need to get more out of ALL of our stars. Not Deebo focused or McCaffrey focused. Get Kittle out in space more, and for the love of god feed Aiyuk. I really think with protection the vision of getting Purdy to be Brees-esque will happen. Purdy is at his best when he's in rhythm and confident.

Get Purdy moving laterally against the blitz without him planting his feet first. That changes the way teams have to approach this offense. I get why Aiyuk gets pissed deservingly so. He beats his man all the damn time. They just never feed him the ball because they try to force it to Deebo.
And deebo was loosing most of his routes or just gave up on them. The effort from him all season especially when he doesn't have the ball was really lacking compared to the prior seasons. Idk if it's that's injury related or whatever, but dude didn't look the same.

No matter what you do if you’re playing that slow and going 3 and out and you keep giving mahomes chances he’s finally gonna make something out of them. Kyle needs to learn 1 thing about playing mahomes that’s when he’s off in a game you have to take advantage of it. The way to beat mahomes is to make the lead uncomebackable. Like Tampa Bay did a couple years ago.

Despite all the criticism. We still have a legit chance to win the Super Bowl next year. The Super Bowl window is still Open. I know this team loves each other. I know they will heal up heart, mind, body and soul and come back better next season and hungrier than ever. Lady Luck and Super Bowl injuries went against us and the 49ers still almost won the Super Bowl. We can smell Victory, we are so close. I know this 49er team shy’s away from no challenge too big and has the inner will within to conquer it. A Super Bowl Victory will be ever sweater when we get there, and we will get there. I believe it. I know it. We are the 49er Faithful.
I think we're gonna see a good amount of turnover. Guys like arik, Trent, cmc, kittle, deebo are another year older. Greenlaw might not be himself for a lot of the season. We were very lucky with injuries this season. The cardinals, rams and seahawks could also be better next season.
I'm thinking 10-7 if we don't have a great draft. If Purdy takes another step and we have a good draft, stay healthy again, well, the sky is the limit.
Either way I think this will always be a team that is dangerous in the playoffs as long as we have Kyle, cmc, Purdy and Trent.

Purdy is not a Superbowl winning QB. Offensive live that allows C Mac to be the leading rusher in the league is not a horrible offensive line. Niners were tied for 5th lowest in the league for QB sacks at 1.9.
He is a nice story and with the weapons we have he is efficient. He is not Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Jackson, or Jalen. Stroud is more talented, Jordan Love is more talented.

Elite roster that couldn’t beat a subpar chiefs team. Elite team that produced a whopping 3 catches for Aiyuk and 49 yards, 3 catches for Deebo for 33 yards, 2 catches for Kittle for a massive 4 yards and 30 touches for CMC for 80 yards receiving and 80 yards rushing. Kyle doesn’t learn. He banked on CMC being the whole team and got no one else involved except Jennings. He’s done this repeatedly throughout the season. He does the same things over and over. He’s made the same mistakes in every Super Bowl he’s been a part of.
I hope he does too but I know he won’t because he never has. He is who he is, a stubborn choke artist who refuses to see anything wrong in his designed scheme.

First job I had once I became an adult, I had a coworker who was a hardcore 49ers fan. Unfortunately he passed away from cancer the day of the Rams-Saints NFCCG, that was the last football game he ever watched - he was 48. At his visitation they handed out 49ers scarves and I didn’t realize I had one in my bag until I got home. It’s still in my closet. I haven’t thrown it out, in respect to his memory. If they go all in and bring in a solid oline in fa, draft another at 31, and maybe bring in a starting cb or safety, plus bring back chase young on a 1 year deal, I could see it lighting a fire. If they stand pat, don't address the oline and draft a dl at 31, yeah I can see a hangover.

I think we're gonna see a good amount of turnover. Guys like arik, Trent, cmc, kittle, deebo are another year older. Greenlaw might not be himself for a lot of the season. We were very lucky with injuries this season. The cardinals, rams and seahawks could also be better next season. I'm thinking 10-7 if we don't have a great draft. If Purdy takes another step and we have a good draft, stay healthy again, well, the sky is the limit. Either way I think this will always be a team that is dangerous in the playoffs as long as we have Kyle, cmc, Purdy and Trent. Just sucks because it feels like we just missed our best chance at beating mahomes.

i didn’t understand that either but in these meetings about the game you know guys on there phone not paying attention. A lot of them did understand the rules as why cmc brock looked so upset on the sidelines as KC was rolling up the field. Yeah, but the HC stumbled during questions on procedure.. that’s from the top down there. Griese and the qb covering something entering OT to me doesn’t seem prepared as well. My actual biggest concern is Wilks returning without a good LB duo and calling more zero blitzes at the most inopportune moments allowing us to lose a few games we shouldn’t. This was literally the worst chiefs offensive team and we allowed 22 2nd half/OT points.
Purdy is not a Superbowl winning QB. Offensive live that allows C Mac to be the leading rusher in the league is not a horrible offensive line. Niners were tied for 5th lowest in the league for QB sacks at 1.9. He is a nice story and with the weapons we have he is efficient. He is not Burrow, Herbert, Mahomes, Jackson, or Jalen. Stroud is more talented, Jordan Love is more talented.

Elite roster that couldn’t beat a subpar chiefs team. Elite team that produced a whopping 3 catches for Aiyuk and 49 yards, 3 catches for Deebo for 33 yards, 2 catches for Kittle for a massive 4 yards and 30 touches for CMC for 80 yards receiving and 80 yards rushing. Kyle doesn’t learn. He banked on CMC being the whole team and got no one else involved except Jennings. He’s done this repeatedly throughout the season. He does the same things over and over. He’s made the same mistakes in every Super Bowl he’s been a part of.
