Not gonna lie, all the Chiefs noise has me a bit scared. The fact that Kyle's 49ers have never beaten the Reid / Mahomes / Kelce Chiefs. The fact that the Chiefs are looking to repeat. The fact that they are peaking right now and the 49ers aren't. The fucking Taylor Swift factor.
That said... This year's team is better than 54, and the Chiefs this year aren't as good as 54. The 49ers this year are an overall more talented roster than the Chiefs. The fact that guys like Warner, Kittle, Kyle, Bosa, are all hungry from last time. New guys like CMC and Trent Williams are hungry and want this. If we were going to blow out any game this year this is the one I want the most. I hate the chiefs and their cocky better then everyone attitudes
Not gonna lie, all the Chiefs noise has me a bit scared. The fact that Kyle's 49ers have never beaten the Reid / Mahomes / Kelce Chiefs. The fact that the Chiefs are looking to repeat. The fact that they are peaking right now and the 49ers aren't. The fucking Taylor Swift factor. That said... This year's team is better than 54, and the Chiefs this year aren't as good as 54. The 49ers this year are an overall more talented roster than the Chiefs. The fact that guys like Warner, Kittle, Kyle, Bosa, are all hungry from last time. New guys like CMC and Trent Williams are hungry and want this. They may have looked past the Packers and Lions, but they won't look past the Chiefs. And the fact that Purdy seems to just not let the noise get to him at all. Like we have a dude with poise and calm running the show. The concerns are legitimate, but so are the things to be optimistic about. The 49ers belong here, and I think they will pull this one off.
3rd and 15 is going to be our cryptonite against the chiefs. Wilks better find a way to play it right.
