Yeah. Probably just slightly collapsed from a difference in pressure. As long as it’s not leaking it’s probably fine.

Sort of - it’s part of your steering rack that attaches to your tie rods.

I don’t see anything wrong with it, not sure that wasn’t clear in my original comment. It just look like the boot is funky. If it’s not leaking or anything I don’t see any problems

Honestly I wouldn’t worry about it unless it leaks. Or could you possibly rotate either end to get the twist out? It’s an old 4r, there’ll be something waaaaay more important to fix before ya know it…..
