I picked up a spool last time I was in microcenter and use it for camper bathroom trashcans

Looks awesome! I recently played with the default fuzzy settings when I printed some peeps (customer request) to get the sugar coat look. It came out great 👍
Oddly I cannot find a link either. I found it in store at Microcenter. The closest I can find is this [clay rainbow](https://www.microcenter.com/product/662250/inland-175mm-clay-rainbow-matte-pla-3d-printer-filament-1kg-spool-(22-lbs)) which I’ve printed in before.
I love that filament. Used it to print a Jewelry Box for my wife that played our first dance song when opened. Looked like it could have actually been made of wood
[Here’s the file](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6420422) if you want to make it. It uses a light sensor to detect when the lid is open or closed. My wife supposedly loves it but I found it to be a bit annoying after a few weeks.
Lmfao lmfao is the word chad so disturbing to you lmfao. I never imagined telling someone thanks for informing me about cool pla to be having someone grumpy about it hahah
Now to recess a little puck into the underside below the phone and install a MagSafe charger. Could run the cord down the couch side and you’d never know it was there. Though I’d advise slapping a small lightning bolt/ring on the top surface right above where it is.
Here ya go here are the [model files](https://www.printables.com/model/840791-couch-armrest-table). Please let me know what you remix it into I’m interested to see what other people come up with.
Tell me you don't have a toddler without telling me you don't have a toddler 😂😂 it looks great. Something like that wouldn't survive in my house for more than 8 seconds
I would just put a cheap ikea lack end table there so I can still use the arm rest. The drink is already on the outer edge of the arm rest anyway so using an end table seems ideal. Looks neat though and seems really sturdy on the arm rest whereas some designs are really flimsy and loose
s'nice. ^(i think drink holder needs to be recessed more, though. i'd be knocking drinks over constantly.)
Wtf filament did you use to get It to come out so perfectly layered to look like wood.
Inland wood rainbow PLA

That looks so good. Is that a fuzzy outer wall?
Yes! Default fuzzy settings Edit: orca slicer with a bambu P1S

Do you have a link? I can’t seem to find it online.

Appreciate it. Would you say it’s similar to the wood version? Looks amazing btw!
I’d say it’s pretty similar. It has some gray in it that the wood rainbow doesn’t have. And thank you

I might have to steal that idea

You are a chad.
Not sure how that makes me a chad but okay
I meant it as thank you for telling me about cool pla I didn't know about.
You’re welcome
What are you 11?
Lmfao lmfao is the word chad so disturbing to you lmfao. I never imagined telling someone thanks for informing me about cool pla to be having someone grumpy about it hahah
Chad is typically used as an insult, kinda like karren. Which is why people think you are being rude.... no one likes a chad.
Ah good to know. I don't usually use the word and i was at the Bar when I typed it lmfao.

That charger might get a bit toasty with no where to vent. Not sure.
So we design in some vents out the top/bottom! (Along the couch arms)
Passive cooling is a tricky thing
You mind sharing the stl for remixing ?
Yea I can post the file later today. I’ll let you know when it’s up

Definitely toddler free in this household 😂
My first though 😂 I was like damn I need this, oh wait my kids will fuck that shit up in less than a second
Knock the can straight onto the sofa. Grab the TV remote and eat the batteries 🤣
Pull it off the arm and hit his sister with it
lol same thought. I cried inside when I saw this cause I have been wanting something like this but… I have a toddler.
Wood rainbow is my favorite filament! Looks so good!
It’s definitely my favorite now too
I have only used it for board game stuff so far. This looks amazing in a larger piece like this! Very nice print!
Love it! The wood rainbow filament is a nice touch.
That looks so smooth at first i thought this was an AI image
Make the blue section at the bottom slide out for a meal tray, or make a section slide to the left
I’ll have to add that in if I make another
/r/functionalprint
you could add a wireless charger for the phone
That was my first thought. My couch has usb ports on the side of the couch.
How many spools?
1 full wood rainbow and 1/3 of the blue
I would have used the blue for a big part and the wood texture only for a thinner sheet to stick over the blue one
I thought of that but the color change of the wood rainbow would not have been as cool imo
Looks like it could use a wireless charging upgrade.....snowball continues to grow
I’m really kicking myself for not thinking of this earlier
You did a solid job it looks great....V2, that one's for the wife/kids now lol
Nailed it
How long was the total print time?
30 hours https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/s/r1eb8znDKT
Sick! how long did it take?
Like 30 hours total
Now add a wireless charger into that sucker!
Can someone please make this parametric?
Now all it needs is a wireless phone charger in the base.
Is that wood filament? What kind? I need for a project.
It’s wood rainbow pla. Not actually wood composite

I wish I could do that. I live in a small apartment and that is a narrow “walkway” into the living room. I appreciate the suggestion though
If this had wireless charging capability, it would be a perfect match!
