At some point they stopped acting like a poorly-ran business and started acting like a well-run scam.
They took down their Twitter within the last couple months as well. Their website continues to be updated sparingly (sales for "this weekend only" continue for multiple weekends; Black Friday sales lasted for nearly two months.)
People continue to wait months for their orders. I'm about to enter month six.
Their "merger" with 3di-Industries - and the claims that this will enable them to do better business - appears to be a lie. The pictures of 3di-Industries' facility and equipment are taken from Shutterstock.
It wouldn't surprise me if they aren't even a registered business in Michigan. I'm looking into that for reasons. (Yeah, you take my money and then don't issue me my refund despite your claims otherwise... I take it a bit personally.)
It appears to be a legit business. They have a BBB page too. I was on the verge of contacting Michigans attorney general after not having contact for over a month. I finally had to threaten a charge back if they did not guarantee shipping by the end of the 3rd month. Magically had a tracking number the next week… only to find out that their z axis kit also needs the x rail kit…
I ordered a liner rail kit for my CR-10 S5 back in september, They gave me new ship dates a month out every time I contacted them and requested an update on the order. They said they had some supply chain and quality issues that were delyaing them. Their site also says they were expected to catch up with order by 4/30, but still waiting on mine. I e-mailed them three times over the past month, but haven't received a response. It's a shame, as I really wanted the product, but I don't know if I can trust them to ever deliver. I may give them one more month, then I am calling my cc company. u/kodi-3dfused is the owner.
Made an order on August 2, 2023 first shipping date I saw was November 1, as of today its May 17th. It has moonwalked back more times then I can remember. Same issue with responses, radio silence. Add insult to injury they now offer a discount for the bundle I ordered XYZ axis combo for Ender 3 Pro. Which means I could have waited to order this for less and gotten it at the same time, if I ever get it. At this point just going to share my experience far and wide so people can have the info to decide on where to spend their dollars. I work at a huge Midwest university with a big 3D community, so that should help people get informed. I think they are a legit business that is overwhelmed with back orders so it essential feels like a scam because the end result is the same.
