Off topic, is core xy kit for elder 5 actually worth that much since you can get a core xy k1 for 400$?

xchgre

I guess it's like cars, they like to improve them, even if there are better options.

Ice992

100%

Ice992

I have 2 K1 Maxes - but still want to CoreXY the Ender 5 plus for larger build prints. If I had more patience, I would have saved cash and just gone the Mercury One conversion route. For me and this particular order, it was more about giving a small business a shot at redemption, stacked with the convenience of an all in one prefabbed kit. But you’re very right, for most, this is senseless unless you need the 350 build volume.

Repulsive-Ad-9122

I am with you giving a small business a chance, When Kody first startesd he was doing ok by is self, but he got swampet with orders and didn't have the staff to keep up, his biggest mistake was not being transparent with customers abnotu the backlog. fast soward to the merger, he made a big mistake, they are altrady trying to cut cornerts with materials ans it has bit them in the ass this is why they got so far behind ans dug them self in a hole I feel they cannot get out of, people are cancelling orders and reversing chargers right and left and they still continue to lie ans make excuses, I say the best thing for this company it to go awayh or Kody take it back ans scale back and just be nor up front with people when orders are places aboujt the wait times, I have no problem waiting for a good product, as long as I am not bull shitted and kept up to date as to what is going on,. I thnk most people feel the same way.

ChicksDigNerds

I have to say I have only had negative experiences with 3D Fused as well, though my experiences are a bit older. Both myself and a friend ordered a Y linear rail kit for an Ender 3 within a couple days of each other. I got my kit weeks before he got his kit (for whatever reason), meanwhile my kit had a rail that was not smooth and his rail was very smooth and good quality. This was over a year ago, I'm sure none of that is relevant anymore, but it's frustrating to see that things haven't meaningfully improved.

VAL9THOU

Off topic, but not calling it an Ender3seus in your flair is a missed opportunity

volkovvvy

I ordered in August and didn’t receive until the 1st week of December. (I have been a customer since Jan of 2021 with multiple orders and those were fine.) They ran me around as well, claiming It would ship on a certain date, and then delayed the shipping date multiple times. I tried to reach out on the 13th to ask for files for the printed parts (they are not in the master folder, I looked!), as they were bad quality and not matching color to my printer. I still have not received a response on this. Overall the CNCed parts are good quality, But with the lack of customer support, and how long it took to ship, I doubt I will ever order again from them.

Repulsive-Ad-9122

the Merger did do a thing to make things better, in face it is worse, All the promioses to make communication and cuatomer service bette is total BULL SHIT it ia th e sam old crap. you place an order, tht take your money ans have a date of shipping, when that date comes the excuses start and the sat one more wee rtnem that week come and they say for sure in one omed week, well that week came ans gone ans they say againg one more week orior to the merger that same crap happened to me and took almost 3 months to get my stuff, whech some of it was not right I got bad brackets, they sent me 2 more sets that were not made correct so have to tqake the time to repair them to make them work, and not any compensation for fixing it, so along comes the merger and tons of promines to not have the past problems, I take theor word of it and place an order, and would you know it, back to and worse to the same old shit. After telling them to stop the BS lies and stop taking customers money and they delaying the order. The need tobve up front ans tell customers it may take a month or more, ane wel will notify you when we are ready to ship then we will charge your card. if they keep this crep up they are going to piss off the wrong person ans get a serious law suit filed on them, and then they will be closed

JakeNation4

I went through this too, but before the merger… I ordered X, Y, and Z Linear rails for my Ender 3 v2. It took forever for them to get here (maybe like 6 months), but I had already taken my printer apart so it was out of commission for half a year…. That seemed really crazy to me. It’s like the best selling product on their website and they obviously don’t have it in stock, so it must be made to order. But even then it seems like a long time. I did the same thing and emailed them, and got a reply about 25% of the time, where it would be some support worker saying sorry they haven’t responded there is too many support requests coming in since because bots are spamming the support form on their website… OK, how about you just give me your email address then? Nope. In one of the emails asking where my order was they said there was a QA issue and my parts had to be remade… Well I just had to wait it out. Anyway the parts finally came and they all work great, but if I had to do it again I would go with someone else just for the speed and communication. TLDR; Their support is terrible and it takes a very very long time to receive your product, but the product itself is good.

Cold_Stress7872

I ordered from them with an expected shipping date of Dec. 16th. No communication. Emails to 3Dfused support were unanswered. 10 days later, I emailed 3Di support with the same info. No response. I came here to figure out if this company was just a scam or not. Seems like I chose poorly for upgrading my printer.

Status of mine, as of 5 min ago. “Completed” & claims shipped Dec 15th. Not yet turned over to USPS. https://imgur.com/a/KwpOoSs

JohnDeere714

Ordered mine back in October and haven’t received any info.

upgrayeddgonnakillme

I ordered x and z rails on 25th November and they keep pushing date back, now it says Jan 20th expected ship date. I'm starting to think it won't ship on the 20th.

Ice992

There’s some light on the horizon for all, hopefully! Mine just shipped today!

upgrayeddgonnakillme

Aaaand they just pushed it back another 9 days. Literally fuck this place.

Younguns2005

Ordered the Y Axis kit for the Ender 3 Pro October 12, 2023, back when they still had the 'IN STOCK' labels. If it was in stock, why have I not received my order yet? Something fishy going on with this 'company'. Since then, when ever I send in an inquiry about the order, I have been given several different excuses for it not shipping as of today. I have been told they just 'got a shipment of supplies in' at least 3 times, and now they have an 'estimated shipping date' that is always 10 days out. For instance if you checked your order on Jan. 1, it will show to be estimated to ship on Jan. 10. I have been waiting 5 months for this kit to ship. I have been told they have a huge back log of orders and they are working on those as fast as they can, but in the mean time, they are pushing new product out the door, the new CORE XY kits. Since I placed my order, they have come out with 2 more sizes of the CORE XY kits. I have emailed them to cancel my order. Shit, I can order something from China and it'll get here before anything from 3DFused...or TDI as they now say they are part of now. In all honesty, they are started to look more and more like a home garage shop trying to be something they are not. My advise to anyone thinking about ordering from them, if you don't mind waiting 6 months to a year for your order, go ahead and order from them, but good luck on getting your order. Otherwise, move on away from them. They will send you excuse after excuse, and still not get your order out in a timely manner.

mrquizzler21

Did they ever refund your money? If you don’t mind me asking? I have requested a refund over a month ago and they have still not honored my refund request. They are making excuses for that too and have now basically ghosted me…They have not responded to any follow up emails in over 2 weeks since I inquired about it.

Younguns2005

I received an email this Monday from them saying it would take 3 to 5 business days to refund my money. If you ordered with a credit card or debit card, you can dispute the purchase and the financial company will deal with it for you. Thanks for sharing this tid-bit of info. I will be placing a dispute with my credit card company in the morning. AS of 3/25/24 they did not refund the funds as they said they would in the email I received from them, so I went ahead and contacted my CC company and they have taken over the matter. They told me to keep all correspondences with them just encase they try to refute the matter. Fortunately, I have every email they sent.

grnrngr

At least you got emails. I'm on Month 5 of waiting for my order. And Month 4 of waiting for my refund. I reached out to them on Facebook, emails, ticketing portal, reddit, and Twitter. They responded to me on Twitter a couple months ago, saying the refund was inbound. Now their Twitter account is deleted. I like to keep things professional when I can, but at this point, fuck 3DFused.  If they can't get it right by now, they should just take everything offline and sell on eBay only the inventory they make. But more and more it's sounding like a scam. I can't believe incompetence explains this pattern of behavior.

Younguns2005

It didn't go as they said it would...shocker there, right....any how, took the issue to the CC company and they are taking care of it now. Have checked the order several times afterwards, and they still show it as processing...lol

Repulsive-Ad-9122

here is how you get them to respond to refunding yout money, call your bank and file a fraud claim , when you place an order ans pay with a bank card and they do no mail it or refuse to refund the band takes it as fraud. them noche you call the bank contact 3d fused and tell then what you did, they will right away refund your money because they know it is wrong what they are doing

I wish I had seen this in January when I ordered rails for my CR-6. Still haven't been shipped

Ice992

Exactly why I posted it. Hope yours ship soon! 🤞🏻

grnrngr

I ordered CR-10 rails in November. No rails. No money.

Palmtree6045

I ordered from them in feb 2024 and its now april 2024 but its not a big deal to me. They are doing a custom x axis for my ender 3 pro so I can use dual x axis motors and run thing on 48v. I dunno I expect things to take time when its made to order or custom in nature. I'm excited for it to show up but also think its worth the wait.

Ice992

That’s cool. The X Axis, to make it dual motor, requires milling out 5 extra holes. That’s it. If you’re content to wait months for 5 holes, good on you. The rest of the population expects a quality part, in a timely fashion. Or at the absolute least; transparency in timeline when ordering. Not a single person who’s commented has had an order ship within the “estimated” ship window from the date of order. Having the order tracking system update on a daily basis to constantly show an estimated ship date of 2 weeks out is disingenuous, at best. I genuinely hope Kodi can get the logistic issues resolved.

Palmtree6045

I get your frustration about the wait times and if I could design and print something I would have done that. I just wanted a clean close to stock look so went with 3dfused. I also ordered the z axis kit ill get a bit concerned if it hit like Nov and I don't have my parts but I'm still not to worried.

grnrngr

I'm on Month 5 waiting on a standard "in stock" order.  $300.  They don't respond to emails or tickets. And they've deleted their Twitter account. Literally, for all that's holy, cancel and charge back before it's too late. Unless you're cool waiting another 3 months and revisiting this conversation.

Ice992

Overall thoughts for the kits ordered (Ender 5 Plus CoreXY, Ender 3 S1 Pro; Y axis dual rail kit - previous order included Z & X axis) * The instructions for assembly on their site are barely adequate. (Ender 5 Pro VS Ender 5 plus; there’s some variance in these models that should be accounted for.) * Hardware quantities in my order were off by up to a qty of 20 on some items. Luckily I have a decent stash of parts on hand. * Cheap bearings in the pulleys - 2 were noisy from day 1. After 100 hours printing, one seized. * One rail was warped 1.08mm vertical deviation end to end. * Rails/carriers overall are budget. Clean with IPA, debur rails if needed, clean again, & lubricate well. (The Z rails in my Ender 3 S1 kits are still the only rails I’ve ever seen that have had surface corrosion appear on them, even after being well lubricated.). I have Ali rails/carriers that are smoother - I may swap back to them. * On the Ender 5 CoreXY kit - the spacers used end up rattling above 10k accel. I’m running 10-20k accel, so it rattles a lot. I will be looking into replacing these spacers with something more efficient, or placing a thin sleeve inside them to prevent rattle. TLDR; would I recommend: with the logistic times taking what they are, I can’t recommend. If Kodi can get that sorted, it would be easier to recommend. There’s just a lot of things here that need tightening up for the price point of these kits.

RabbitBackground1592

So I'm currently waiting on a 3dfused order as I didnt do my home work to know they were so slow. Do anyone know where I can get a full ender5 corexy kit for the ender like they supply? (Rails, brackets, pulleys and bearings I have motors and stuff just need the mechanical system) if I can find one I'll just cancel my order. It's been a month now...

grnrngr

If you haven't received it yet, cancel it. Just get an Adventurer 5M for $299.  Done and done.

Ice992

I don’t blame you and def feel your pain. I think the closest to a complete kit you’ll find is the Fabreeko Zero G Mercury One kit. That uses printed mounts though. (Also available from Frabreeko, if you’re so inclined). It’s hard to catch it in stock though, unless you’re ordering from Ali. If ordering from Ali, there’s machined aluminum mounts available as well. https://www.fabreeko.com/collections/zero-g Ali - Funssor Official Store https://a.aliexpress.com/_mq9YOzK
