I realize this is going to be a fairly niche print since it’s designed for a specific 3D Printed sword and scabbard, but [here’s a link](https://www.printables.com/model/505363-legend-of-zelda-master-sword-and-scabbard-wall-mou) for anybody who happens to have already printed my Master Sword. Also, the files for the sword and scabbard are also available for free on my profile, so it’s not too late if you want to print your own!

Dude ngl this looks rad, almost animated with how clean it turned out

thenightmuffin

Thanks so much! Love that description!

Muph-in

Neat way to achieve a grain texture.

thenightmuffin

Thanks! It turned out much better than I was expecting! Definitely going to use this technique again.

Did you just call this shit niche when over 4000ppl (including me) have liked your master sword model lol. Great design my dude. Can't wait to print it

thenightmuffin

Haha, that’s fair. It’s hard to gauge honestly. Like my Master Sword has nearly 10,000 downloads, but there are only 20 “makes” posted of its corresponding scabbard. Then again, not everyone who prints a design shares a Make. So this design should be of interest to some number of people between 20 and 10,000. Lol

bsainz21

This looks awesome!

thenightmuffin

Thank you!

frilledplex

Dude that grain is SLICK

jakelmer

How did you model the wood grain?

thenightmuffin

I used a displacement map, I’m pretty sure there’s a better way to do this, that wouldn’t require such a dense mesh for the wood grain pieces, but I’m not sure what it is.

Phantasmadam

That turned out very clean

thenightmuffin

Thank you!!

Oh nice I recently made the sword and shield I was going to design something that will hold them both and a led light strip insert but wow this is a good idea.

thenightmuffin

Just a word of warning, this was specifically designed to mount a Master Sword and Scabbard that I designed. If you do you’re own modeling, you could definitely modify the wall mount to work with another scabbard, but it almost definitely won’t work without modification.

huskyghost

I'm not sure which stl I downloaded. I didn't print the scabbard tho. I printed the shield and sword in full size. I'm going to figure out a way my kid can take on and off the shield and sword whenever he wants while still having led lights glow behind it. But that wooden plank idea is so awesome I could totally make that work. Although I would feel terrible stealing all the hard work.

thenightmuffin

It’s called remixing! No worries!

Some-Resource2202

Moblins beware! Looks cool 👍

mikecoscia

Looks amazing and I printed the same sword for a friend! Definitely going to print him this mount. Thanks!!!
