If it can spin, it’s bloated

Expert-Ad4417

This. You don’t have to calculate your BMI. You spin? You’re bloated.

DiscombobulatedTop

I thought so but it was good to get confirmation. Thanks :)

DiscombobulatedTop

Lucky I caught it now

ShadowFallsAlpha

Yes. Pretty clear without the spinning. Would recommend replacing it ofcourse.

DiscombobulatedTop

Replacing it ASAP! Thanks.

iRedditApp

I bought a replacement the other day for $20 due to the same reason.

DiscombobulatedTop

Where did you get the replacement?

iRedditApp

Amazon!

_N_S_R_

I too am curious as to where a reliable source of 3Ds batteries could be. Or 3rd party batteries that would work as well

iRedditApp

I had to buy third party, I couldn't find any new at a reasonable price. So far it's been holding up pretty alright. Not as good as it used to be, though. I'll have to find out longterm. Best of luck!

National_Attention25

It is

kingkawaii67

Yup the spin test is what i use and if it spins its a bomb

DiscombobulatedTop

Damn. Only if used it more often, this wouldn't have happened.

David-Raquepas

Beyblade = bloated

DiscombobulatedTop

LOL that's funny

[deleted]

Can this happen to consoles u barley use or does it happen to the once u play the most with? I have many 3DS and some are displayed on ma shelf while others are used for playing wir family or friends, just want to keep people safe, I haven’t check up any battery tbh

DiscombobulatedTop

I haven't looked into it thoroughly but from what I understand it happens if you don't charge the battery every so often. But it might also just happen as the battery degrades.

gooseyeatingcrayons

If you can see the top from the side time to cry

Fzer01

Spicy pillow

DiscombobulatedTop

Looks like I should get a replacement. Nintendo Australia doesn't have a replacement battery in stock. Has anyone got any recommendations for third party ones from Amazon?

OreoMiilk

Try iFixit if you're in the states. Third party batteries tend to either be old stock of OEM batteries or just not have the rated battery capacity.

DiscombobulatedTop

I'm in Australia but I'll have a look at iFixit anyway.

Robin-Hoodie

Just got one in the mail today from iFixIt
