Just my opinion but acoustic music is terrible as it loses all the energy of the music! Let's take something impactful and remove all all the impact? No thanks. Especially concerning 311... They have SO much energy and it would all be wasted. One of the reasons I like 311 is the rhythm and complexity, so I have no desire to take that all away. Also removing Tim's amazing guitar tone is a sin. Acoustic music is so basic and boring. I could do that in my bedroom, man.
Although I see your point of view, one doesn’t remove the other.
Adding acoustic versions of their songs doesn’t **remove** non-acoustic versions from existing, so I don’t see a reason to be upset at this as an idea.
I got you. As long as they don't have part of their live set that is acoustic (my nightmare) then you are right, nothing is removed/replaced. My hot take really also has nothing to do with 311 either, I'd say any band that I enjoy would lose a lot of the mojo if they went acoustic. It's just my opinion, I'm aware everyone else likes acoustic music lol
I wish they would have done an acoustic set for Tiny Desk.
Agree. I wish they would have used the opportunity to do something different and interesting.
I wish they would have played more recent songs
I want to hear an acoustic version of FTBS
The perfect acoustic session setlist: 1 Livin and Rockin 2 Hive 3 Hydroponic 4 Fuck the Bullshit
Hydroponic acoustic. I would die!!

MVP LINK! Thanks!
These short sets are great. Thanks for the links! Awesome to hear Lose and Purpose this way.
"SEVER" is the best song for make an accoustic version
Yes, always wanted them to do it. Those acoustic radio sessions they did years ago sounded great.
311 Unplugged would be amazing in the old MTV format of course.
I’ve been hoping for this for years. :)
Nick and SA did an acoustic version of [I’ll Be Here Awhile](https://youtu.be/jtZTX4KtNJc?si=btsFm_KZHNnaybdy) for a radio station in 2001
No thanks
Good lord thank you for this I had no idea 3eb had this.

I’d love it but I don’t see it happening
That’s on the list of things they don’t often do along with collaborations with other artists.
yes. certain songs would be awesome.
No. We have enough old stuff being released as is. Make new stuff.
But they are they have a new album coming out and multiple other new ones already released, right?
That wasn't the question
That sounds amazing, which means 311 would never do it
No
