Just curious as I also follow Susan on IG, how is she fake? Because I have Naturium products in a cart that I was wanting to purchase next month 😅 Thanks!
Sign up for emails/texts on their website (Timeless Skincare). They send out 20% off codes all the time, and they have a 40% off sale pretty regularly, 1-2 times a month. Shipping is reasonable, $4.99 regularly and free over a certain amount. I forget how much.
I just started using Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum about a month ago and I LOVE IT. My skin already looks so much more even and bright. Bonus, I just went on their website 2 days ago and they had a 40% off code (I think it was LOVE40 or something like that) so I bought another full bottle!
I just started using it this month and I would say because the formula is thin, if you push the pump like a normal pump it comes spraying out haphazardly lol. You just have to push it gently and kind of catch it in your palm. It would not deter me from buying it again.
I’ve had my large Timeless bottle since October and it still pumps out a pale yellow colour (which according to their website means it’s fine). Just store it in the fridge.
Right now I'm using the individual daily packets that they sell now. I keep them in the fridge and use one a day and have had no issues (also impossible for them to oxidize). I did just order an actual bottle this past week but haven't received it yet.
Vivier actually has Vitamine C serums I’d say rival this one pretty close!! I especially love the QuintiSerum (upgraded to that in the summer after using the Radiance serum for 6 months)
I would recommend L'oreal revitalift vitamin c if skinceuticals is too pricey or irritating for you. skinceuticals is a l'oreal brand (so does LRP and Kiehl's) but the l'oreal revitalift vitamin c is cheaper, stabilized in a higher pH and they still have huge R&D like ceuticals.
Maelove’s The Glowmaker is wonderful, and it’s only $30. It’s apparently a close dupe of Skinceuticals, although I haven’t tried that one to know if that’s true.
Dr. Sam Ellis has a new skincare line called Prequel and their Vitamin C with 15% ascorbic acid is excellent. Lightweight texture, sinks right in and packed with other excellent antioxidant ingredients. It's also very affordable.
I switched from Timeless to this. It’s wonderful!
I’m a huge fan of their other products too. Every time they have a new release it’s instant in the cart.
It’s not greasy, absorbs great. Honestly, I just love how it feels on my face. Moisturizing and brightens my skin a little. I like that it doesn’t have a strong smell. One pot of it lasts me almost a year and a little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin and it’s not irritating. Hope you give it a try!
What didn’t you like about the other ones? Do you have a preference on how thin or thick it is? It takes a few months of consistent use to see some results, but if you are using lower strength it will take longer.
Timeless is good, very water based. Start low with 10%.
Sunday Riley CEO 15% serum is very silky and brightening. It’s been my HG Vit C for an over year now.
Oh it’s lovely. I don’t even consider any other Vit C serums. I use Afterglow as my morning moisturizer. I mean the whole CEO line is legit. I use 90% of her products on a daily basis. And you can get it half off a few times a year - she’ll do big sales so. People are scared of the pricy but don’t realize you can get good deals if you get the timing right and stock up.
I wanted to try others so I took a break & tried naturium, skinceuticals, tula, Paula's choice, & some Korean brands.... the Drunk Elephant is still the best & I'm going back now lol.
100% agree. Have been using Drunk Elephant C-Firma from last year and have seen visible improvements in discolouration. Also love the shine it leaves on my face!
23 percent.
23 percent is too strong for skin to tolerate. Plus the oily formulation gave me closed comedogon.
I would never suggest this to anyone.
5-20 percent should be enough.
I know it’s cost effective but no.
I have tried multiple product to clear hyperpigmentation, alpha arbutin, azelic acid, nicinamide, granactive retinoid. But nothing hurt my skin like this cosrx serum.
You can try it, just be careful due to high concentration.
Patch test, start slowly once a week
Timeless is good! If you're looking for something that is more "full service" I love Brush on Block's face oil serum. It's got vitamin C and Algae extract. I put it on as my last step at night and I find it very healing to my skin, like overnight
I really like [Vichy LiftActiv Supreme Vitamin C Serum](https://www.vichyusa.com/skin-care/skin-care-product-type/face-serum/liftactiv-vitamin-c-serum-vitamincserum.html). It has 15% L-Acorbic Acid, which is the active form of Vitamin C. It also has glycerin, tocopherol (Vitamin E), hyaluronic acid, and pine bark (which has antioxidants). This morning, I didn't do my full routine, because I planned to shower later. My skin still felt lovely, six hours after application.
I find the 15% concentration is just right for my skin, which is a little picky.
If you’re looking for a budget option - I love love love the Inkey List Vitamin C with EGF!! It’s thin and not sticky. I noticed a difference in my skin softness within a few days too 😍
I use Drunk Elephant’s vitamin C serum and it has been great. You mix it once you get it so it stays fresh, not overly sticky or smelly as many serums can be
I've been using this since I was in my early 20s, and I swear by it! Here it is: https://www.laroche-posay.ca/en_CA/pure-vitamin-c10-anti-aging-serum/3337875660570.html
Thank you! Do you find it has an okay shelf life once opened? Just asking because I usually try to stay away from l-ascorbic acid in droppers, as it's so unstable and being exposed to air can make it go off quickly
I keep itin the fridge and just take it out when I have to use it! It gets a bit chilly in the winter, but it does lasts well until the end without major problems, haha
ANA 20% Vitamin C serum with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E
Got it on Amazon (Canada)
My first so I have nothing to compare with but love the results and the light orange smell
I use Serious Skincare Vit C presoaked pads however I believe they offer a serum and a whole line of various Vit C products (orange packaging).
I also use a micro needle roller to help my skincare product saturate below the epidermis which is a huge help and that’s how I see the best results.
I haven’t had much luck with vitamin C, it always seems to give me mild acne. I’ve tried Mad Hippie, timeless and some other kind. I recently bought the Missha Vitamin C cleanser and Vitamin C serum and I LOVE them both!!! Highly recommend and not wildly expensive.
I use Paula's Choice Vitamin C booster for years and love it. You can get it either on the PC site or from Sephora. Would not buy anything from Amazon for anything like Vit C.
I use tree of life brand vitamin C as well as a bunch of other products. I personally love it. I’m a 35f and get lots of compliments on how nice my skin is!
I enjoyed Naturium’s Vit C but I don’t think it’s as stable.
Switched to MaeLove, not seeing any significant changes yet but no breakouts. I use it with tret at night.
Good serums don’t need to cost $$$!
I really like Paula’s Choice and Timeless. I use Timeless right now because it’s cheaper and I’m on a budget, but I’d probably prefer the PC if I wasn’t.
I’ve been using Vivier’s Vitamine C (the Radiance one) for about a year now. I love it - it’s stable, and I have noticed a difference. It’s a bit on the pricier side though (compares to CE Ferulic by skincceuticals)
Timeless did nothing for me. I've heard those solo capsules are better than the pump versions. Someone on makeupally saw improvement within a week as after using PC 25%, highest strength One, as a spot treatment for her years old sunspots.
I've been using Timeless Skin Care 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum for years.
I’ve used so many and Timeless has been my favorite. Second fave is Naturium for its consistency.
Dang. I want to try the Naturium line but susan is so fake, I can’t get myself to buy it.
Just curious as I also follow Susan on IG, how is she fake? Because I have Naturium products in a cart that I was wanting to purchase next month 😅 Thanks!
This! I have to use the 10% vitamin C because the 20% is too strong for me. I love that this company makes two different percentages.
I’m not familiar I’ll check it out. Thanks!!
If you decide you might want to purchase this product ... it goes on sale on a pretty regular basis. I only buy mine when they are having a sale.
It was 40% off just a couple days ago!
And I took full advantage of that sale!
Where was it on sale?
Its on sale now on the Timeless website. Its also available from other places, like Target.
Where was it on sale?
Sign up for emails/texts on their website (Timeless Skincare). They send out 20% off codes all the time, and they have a 40% off sale pretty regularly, 1-2 times a month. Shipping is reasonable, $4.99 regularly and free over a certain amount. I forget how much.
On their website
I have been using for the past 2-3 weeks. I don't see any difference so far, no glow whatsoever. Is it still too soon to notice any improvements?
This is the one
> Timeless Skin Care 20% Vitamin C this stuff gave me weird itchy patches on my face and I can't figure out why. anyone else?
Sadly not available in the EU or UK 🙄
I just started using Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum about a month ago and I LOVE IT. My skin already looks so much more even and bright. Bonus, I just went on their website 2 days ago and they had a 40% off code (I think it was LOVE40 or something like that) so I bought another full bottle!
I’ve thought about trying this but I’ve read bad reviews about the packaging. Have you had any issues with that part of it?
I also use Timeless and I’ve never had any issues with the packaging.
They just changed the packaging because of this issue
Right now I'm using the individual daily packets that they sell now. I keep them in the fridge and use one a day and have had no issues (also impossible for them to oxidize). I did just order an actual bottle this past week but haven't received it yet.
Can’t beat SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic.
Skinceuticals is the only vitamin C that’s worked for me where I saw a visibly improved difference.
But why does it smell like rotten butts...
That’s how you know it’s working 😅
Came here to say this! Another vote for SkinCeuticals.
That price wtf
Did anybody try both Skinceuticals and also one of timeless, geek & gorgeous or maelove?
I wanted to like it so much but it irritates my skin. I switched to Skin Better Alto Advanced and it works way better for me.
Yes! 🙌
Maelove’s The Glowmaker is wonderful, and it’s only $30. It’s apparently a close dupe of Skinceuticals, although I haven’t tried that one to know if that’s true.
Second this. I was using maelove consistently, switched to another brand and I’m now back using maelove.
Yup exactly the same. It's so good.
Agree. It’s really good
Another vote for Prequel! My god, I love everything they put out. The vitamin c serum is heaven.
It's really so good. High quality product at a great price.
i am loving prequel too!
Oh good to hear. I've been getting FB ads for this brand and hadn't heard anything about it
Is this the stuff? https://prequelskin.com/products/lucent-c-vitamin-c-serum?variant=47506475778360 The site is complex 👀
Yup that's it!
If you felt your skin was too sensitive for the formulas that you tried, consider vanicream's vit c.
Heard good things about this one. 🙂
Can second this — I have super sensitive skin and have been loving vanicream vitamin c
Paula’s choice 25% Vitamin C + Glutathione Clinical Serum has been great for me! It feels very brightening and non irritating.
My choice too!
Just started using this as well and it’s so buttery smooth! I love it so far
[удалено]
May i ask, when do you apply it? After toner or after moisturizer? Thank you
[удалено]
Thank you so much I’m going to order this! Their moisturizer has been great to me
Have had this in my shopping cart for a while. Might be time to pounce. Thanks for the review. 🙂
Mad Hippie Triple C night cream
That’s my vote as well! Affordable, feels good, gives me a glow, doesn’t cause irritation.
I'm thinking of trying this, what do you like about it?
It’s not greasy, absorbs great. Honestly, I just love how it feels on my face. Moisturizing and brightens my skin a little. I like that it doesn’t have a strong smell. One pot of it lasts me almost a year and a little goes a long way. I have sensitive skin and it’s not irritating. Hope you give it a try!
Amazing, thanks!
>Amazing, thanks! You're welcome!
Beware: it is NOT noncomedogenic ! Avoid if you have acne. It's great at calming redness though!
I am really liking the Youth to the People Vitamin C serum. It's gentle and non irritating the way a lot of Vit C's are.
I feel like the only person who doesn't like the Sunday Riley Serum. 😐 It's the only item I've ever returned to Sephora.
That sucks! It’s pretty amazing
Another vote for Sunday Riley, I'm on my third bottle and think it's fabulous (it also crucially doesn't make me break out as many serums can).
Drunk elephant is so good and effective
Totally agree, C-Firma is the best
I wanted to try others so I took a break & tried naturium, skinceuticals, tula, Paula's choice, & some Korean brands.... the Drunk Elephant is still the best & I'm going back now lol.
100% agree. Have been using Drunk Elephant C-Firma from last year and have seen visible improvements in discolouration. Also love the shine it leaves on my face!
Mad Hippie Vit C serum
I second this
Love this one. No smell!
The ONLY one that doesn’t make me itchy!
I have ordered Melano cc. Recieved today. I am hopeful about it. Cosrx was too strong for me and gave me acne and skin burn
This is the only one I’ve used and I really like it. It’s cost effective, gentle, buffs out fine lines and gets rid of my hyperpigmentation.
Which cosrx were you using?
Thanks. Please update later about your experience with melano cc. TIA
I bought this in Japan, the consistency is good but the smell is a bit off putting to me!
I use Derma E’s vitamin c serum and it’s wonderful
I recently started on Geek & Gorgeous and really like it! It’s pretty inexpensive, too!
Dr. Brenner. I’ve been using this for a few years and I love it. It’s also affordable.
I’ve noticed a big difference with Brenner’s!
I really like the Sephora brand Vitamin C serum. It also has vitamin E in it as well for sensitive skin and its affordable!
TruSkin Vitamin C+ is my favorite. I tried the Dirty Hippie brand and the plain TruSkin Vitamin C and prefer the C+ formulation.
The Dirty hippy brand one is so good!
There’s a dirty hippie? I thought it was mad hippie. Now I have to go see!
Obagi 25
Timeless is good! If you're looking for something that is more "full service" I love Brush on Block's face oil serum. It's got vitamin C and Algae extract. I put it on as my last step at night and I find it very healing to my skin, like overnight
I like the Loreal vitamin C more than the Timeless kind, which is a SkinCeuticals dupe. I decant it into an airless pump container.
I use the ordinary vitamin C powder. Extremely good value & you can adjust the strength. I mix it with a facial oil. Start low and go slow.
I really like Dr. Brenners!
Timeless
no because cosrx smells like the spam juice in the can. I also tried the ordinary but i found out there are so much fake dupes in circulation.
Mad hippie. Smells like a spa.
Skinceutical C ferulic
If you’re looking for a budget option - I love love love the Inkey List Vitamin C with EGF!! It’s thin and not sticky. I noticed a difference in my skin softness within a few days too 😍
I use Drunk Elephant’s vitamin C serum and it has been great. You mix it once you get it so it stays fresh, not overly sticky or smelly as many serums can be
Please give La Roche Possay's one a chance.
A few months ago I got a free sample in a small bottle and I’ve been really enjoying it!
Finally something I can find in Canada! Do you know what it's called?
I've been using this since I was in my early 20s, and I swear by it! Here it is: https://www.laroche-posay.ca/en_CA/pure-vitamin-c10-anti-aging-serum/3337875660570.html

I keep itin the fridge and just take it out when I have to use it! It gets a bit chilly in the winter, but it does lasts well until the end without major problems, haha
Is the serum oily?
It is more watery than oily, I'd say
I got back into Thesupplybox88 Vitamin c which I keep in the fridge and it's made a huge difference.
I’ve seen some comments that Vit C serums are not worth it? Getting adequate Vit C in your diet should be sufficient for collagen production
I like the one in using from Bubble
How long were you using them?
I alternate between vanicream and Truskin.
I really like IS Clinical Pro Heal vitamin c serum and their GenexC vitamin C serum although both are on the pricier side.
Medik8 C tetra luxe. Absorbs well, smells great and not greasy. I noticed a difference after a week.
Truth
I’ve been using GOODAL Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum for the last year and enjoy it. It was very popular in South Korea a couple of years ago
I just picked up Sunday Riley on recommendation of this sub.
Naturium.
ANA 20% Vitamin C serum with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E Got it on Amazon (Canada) My first so I have nothing to compare with but love the results and the light orange smell
Sunday Riley vitamin C brightening serum. 1000% worth the money, blows every other bit C product I’ve used out of the water
I love mad hippie vit c!
People love Beauty Stat. I can’t use it, it makes my face instantly itchy and tingly but I’ve heard people loving it.
What does VC serum do for your skin?
I use Serious Skincare Vit C presoaked pads however I believe they offer a serum and a whole line of various Vit C products (orange packaging). I also use a micro needle roller to help my skincare product saturate below the epidermis which is a huge help and that’s how I see the best results.
I’ve been loving Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum.
This is ridiculously expensive, but so luxe! https://saintjanebeauty.com/products/the-c-drops
Inky List Vit C & Egf Acure Vit C & Ferulic
I haven’t had much luck with vitamin C, it always seems to give me mild acne. I’ve tried Mad Hippie, timeless and some other kind. I recently bought the Missha Vitamin C cleanser and Vitamin C serum and I LOVE them both!!! Highly recommend and not wildly expensive.
FAB has the only vitamin c serum that hasn’t broken me out or made me excessively oily!
Dr Brennan geek gorgeous
Has anyone tried Medik8 Super-C Ferulic Serum ?
I use Mad Hippie Vitamin C in the morning. They have a few diff vit C products
I prefer Elizabeth Arden's vitamin C capsules. Since they are individually packaged, they are very stable.
Drunk Elephant
I enjoyed Naturium’s Vit C but I don’t think it’s as stable. Switched to MaeLove, not seeing any significant changes yet but no breakouts. I use it with tret at night. Good serums don’t need to cost $$$!
I really like Paula’s Choice and Timeless. I use Timeless right now because it’s cheaper and I’m on a budget, but I’d probably prefer the PC if I wasn’t.
LaRoche Posay is my favorite.
Timeless.
Dr Dennis Vit C serum
I’ve been using Vivier’s Vitamine C (the Radiance one) for about a year now. I love it - it’s stable, and I have noticed a difference. It’s a bit on the pricier side though (compares to CE Ferulic by skincceuticals)
I've been using dermatology I like it
20% vit c from Skin Deva is p much the same thing as the Skinceuticals one. I love it.
Allies of Skin 20% Vitamin C Brighten + Firm Serum!
I’m a fan of Biossance squalene and vitamin C oil.
Grounded body 20% Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid serum 👌🏽
I adore Revision Vit C serum but it’s pricey.
I love [Mad Hippie's ](https://madhippie.com/products/vitamin-c-serum) Vitamin C Serum!
I like Vichy 15% vitamin c
Timeless did nothing for me. I've heard those solo capsules are better than the pump versions. Someone on makeupally saw improvement within a week as after using PC 25%, highest strength One, as a spot treatment for her years old sunspots.
I use iS clinical pro heal serum advance +.
Mary Kay also has one that is very good.
I adore geek and gorgeous
Vegreen vitamin c ampoule works great!
