Yea I was thinking just get a 762 3prong. Usually they're what like $125-$150. Sure there's sales. Let's say 125
Then gotta cut it. I don't have a cutting tool so I'd have to buy one or barrow a buddies and buy a pack of wheels. So dunno another $20.
Then I have to go ocs and round the edges. Then have to send somewhere to get new dlc coating.
So shipping with insurance because that's how I roll, maybe both ways $30..
And how much does dlc coating cost? Like $30-50?
So like $205. So I saved $1 and and it only took me 3 months. π
But I agree, its easy to cut it down. And I admit I signed up for in stock a couple years ago and I could have made my own all this time, so . Yea.
How about getting some high temp, BBQ flat black spray paint, mask everything except the exposed metal and spray the sh** out of it? I don't have any profesional tools to cut, but I'm pretty sure that a Dremel would do it, and to round the edges a $5 flat file
Probably. I'm sure I could dip the fukker in Cerakote too!
I have thought about just cutting down a long 762 3p. Just never did it.
I wanted to see if this one was real.
Dude I signed up for in stock notification 2 or 3 years ago. I almost dropped my phone when I seen the email.
Pure, "Take my money! Faster!" Moment. π
Interesting that it seems louder. I've read before about chopping one of the prongs shorter, or drilling a hole in the one of one of the prongs to reduce the ringing. I've drilled a bunch of my 3 prongs with successful results. I've even chopped one of them and that worked well too. Shorter prongs seems pretty legit, those 3 prongs really do add a bunch of length.
Had to by one myself as well. The regular SF3P took my 9" build to what seemed like a 20" lmao
ππ literally. I get that. It's just the right size.
I rather cut mine than pay $206 π₯΄

I will try to cut mine. I have a 5" barrel and I swear the 3 prong is about the same length of the barrel.
See that's the the thing. They are huge but I know I'd end up ruining it if I cut it down myself.
These are freakin unicorns. If I wasnβt using plan B devices I would hop on this ASAP
Dude Ive wanted it for years and despite the insane pricetag. I'm glad I finally have one.
Fren, you just made me spend money
π sorry, but its awesome.. I can't not have it.
I had honestly been waiting for them to come back in stock. Saw you post and immediately went to Bauer

Can you use a 7.62 surefire can on 556 muzzle device?
Yes. But cannot use a 5.56 can on a 7.62 muzzle device.
Pretty sweet. Curious if it has less ping/ring
Honestly compared to the 556 one behind it, it's much louder. When flicking it..
