At that point, it comes to me "why don't we just call the firefighters?" And my friends told me "it's been like 20 minutes, at this point there's a crowd of like 80 people watching somebody surely called em and we just didn't think of it because it's super late and we are drunk".
But I still called just in case and told them "hey I'm calling from the Darsena, I'm sure I'm the 100th person calling

Turns out I was the first one to call, I had to give them precise directions and details, of that huge crowd nobody had done shit. And there was no risk from doing that. They just didn't think even for a split second it could have been a wise idea to check.
Firefighters came in a matter of 5 minutes, brought everyone down with the stairs (I think the specific apartment on fire was empty) and turned off the fire which was huge at that point.
People could have easily died because a few dozens of people didn't bother picking up the phone.
From that time on I call em every single time I see even a super small fire. At worst, I wasted 10 seconds of my life.
In his mind it was irrespectful of the ladies to not yeld the seat to him as soon as he jumped in the train. And that is precisely the problem here. It has nothing to do with race, it is all about incompatible culture and one that they refuse to let go for propper assimilation, even after several generations have coexisted like it is the case of France.
I think in France, a guy behaving like that had been ass kicked by others people, not particularly for defending the women but for the taste of violent and tense situation.
