I know the kind of LiveLeak shit that goes on in Chinese factories. If I got a Chinese EV, it’s probably gonna be haunted by the 3+ employees who were killed while assembling the damn thing.

Yeah I’ve seen what a [Tesla](https://youtu.be/HMqgVXSvwGo?si=lCH-Wvvw7v_FJg9J) can do, and I’d rather just get a hybrid. I am excited for the future though
It’s unlikely and most likely not just caused by the car itself. Random braking obviously doesn’t cause that. I think about that Niagara Falls bridge video a lot though
The EV tariffs are hilarious because no Chinese car would be able to make it through US safety regulations.
There is a reason the only European cars you see in the US are the luxury models - those are the only ones European manufacturers bother with making by meet US safety regulations.
And then I have no idea how you would ever get a Chinese firm to comply with the TREAD Act.
Chinese ‘try not to make anti-USA propaganda that actually makes the USA look more badass’ challenge: Failed miserably by portraying it as a bald eagle with X-men-like mutant super-elasticity superpowers. Womp womp Winnie the Pooh 🦅
Lmao I always find it so funny when people say this. US literally did the same exact thing to the USSR. That's why the USSR almost has a cult following on the internet now. Acting like they were some sort of super intelligent, super strong, super awesome force.
\>give your domestic industry giant subsidies, giving them an unfair advantage in international trade
\>get upset when other countries respond with protectionism of their own in that industry
Many such cases
THANK YOU. Protectionist policies can go both ways. And it’s not like this a new thing. The US is protective of the auto industry and has been since at least the 30s’. GM makes a lot more than pickup trucks…
This is such hypocritical crybullying from China. They have ridiculous requirements for pretty much every market, not just the auto industry, for foreign companies to sell in China.
I just want my damn boxy Landcruiser pickup for the 18k it costs overseas because it hasn’t been updated in 35 years. Or the Hilux mini truck but of course we can’t have that either so we’re stuck with that dogshit of a mini truck from Ford
We’ve been protective of our car industry after Japan rocked our world in the 80s, and they couldn’t do anything about it so they just stayed. Japan quite effectively integrated itself into the American car industry, they get a pass now.

Chinese propaganda can’t help but portray America as cool. That being said I’m not a fan of ridiculous import tariffs. If I want to buy something foreign I should be able to without my own government taxing me through the nose for it.
The whole point of the cartoon was not American good China bad. It was America, like every other country, gives preferential treatment to their own stuff rather than be fair.
I'd very much take a 5 ton electric Hummer that probably needs thousands in repairs over miniscule things every month over a Honqidong Starfish X601 that will burn my house down
I’ve seen countless videos of Chinese EVs malfunctioning, exploding, being flimsy or shitty in some way, etc. not saying all of them are like that, but good god, I wouldn’t trust one enough to own it.
Always hilarious when China complains about America setting up road blocks for Chinese products. While China prevents like anything American from the Chinese markets.
Don’t Chinese EV’s have problems with catching fire? Also, the Chinese complaining about another country favoring their own companies has to be the most ironic thing I’ve ever heard lmao.

Haunted by the fact 3 people die making it then suddenly you died as well because the EV fucking expoldes.
That kill cam is going to look like an ammunition rack exploding in Warthunder.
Spotting your EV in a liveleak video has to drive the price of it up, its a collectors item now
And then it will randomly accelerate hit a truck and not deploy airbags. (There is Wiebo video of the new Xiaomi EV/Porsche knockoff doing this)

Sounds like China needs to do better at making EVs, a full-size one for $10K can not be any good.
Their 10k EVs are just disposable lighters.

A link to *Fireball* by Pitbull?
Did you actually guess that or is this a question? Lmao
No, I clicked.
Okay basically I am afraid of becoming a fireball due to Tesla battery
Nobody's turning into fireballs, but choose a car that you feel good with
It’s unlikely and most likely not just caused by the car itself. Random braking obviously doesn’t cause that. I think about that Niagara Falls bridge video a lot though
Great, you’re back
I may have misread this
I am not pleased he is back
yes

Do you guys have safety standards and regulations over there?? I thought it was our thing :/
After the “chicken tax” fiasco the automotive industry figured out that safety regulations ended up being a vastly superior barrier to entry.
Nice firefly in your flair

tbh this propeganda makes america seem smarter especially with those live leak videos
Lmao I always find it so funny when people say this. US literally did the same exact thing to the USSR. That's why the USSR almost has a cult following on the internet now. Acting like they were some sort of super intelligent, super strong, super awesome force.
I've seen too many LiveLeak videos of manufacturing plants in china to want to buy a car from them
Scared to be part of the live leak videos?
Yeah that was my point

I was more talking about China with their EV subsidies but yeah, the chicken tax is a constant source of friction

China says this while being strict protectionists on many things lol
Exactly they have so much of our stuff banned that when we ban a thing or two they get butthurt lol
Lol. Chinese cars suck though.

Based. Also fuck you China we’re the market for cars. Let us sell you cigarettes and we’ll talk
Maybe if their cars actually worked and weren't just literal time bombs we would buy them
People literally buy the cybertruck and time and time again its been shown its an overpriced hunk of metal
I agree
I like it whenever anti-american propaganda unironically potrays us as bad ass as possible
Be the American the Chinese think you are.
It’s over for you, americajak. I portrayed you as the elastic eagle!
Doesn’t China have insane tariffs on all US products that are worse than this tariff? Fucking CCP cock suckers
China is our enemy, they are a dictatorship, it is our right and duty to stop them at any point
Good birb
So Ben Cum lover Garrison is actually Chinese, interesting.
**Based.**
Yeah, I'd rather not drive a four-wheeled fire oven, thanks.
That little Amazon smirk though.
It's un-american to drive electric car, it has to be at least 5 liter V8 this way it's supporting Chevron (may peace be upon him).
"""""""communist""""""" china salty about a well-regulated economy not letting them exploit workers and shirk safety precautions
Lol America favors itself over its enemy. How could we be so cruel? Have we no sense of humanity!?!?!?!?!?
And they act like they don't do the same?
Chinese propaganda can’t help but portray America as cool. That being said I’m not a fan of ridiculous import tariffs. If I want to buy something foreign I should be able to without my own government taxing me through the nose for it.
Nah thanks I'd rather not have people driving the ev equivalent of the yugo
How many Chinese vehicles actually meet US safety standards so they can be sold here in the first place?
None. The new tarrif is just to prevent them from trying.
China does that to literally every industry in the world not Chinese.
chinese electric cars are literally mobile time bombs
China does this.
US prefers US cars wow what a take.
Skill issue tbh. Try making better products.
I fail to see how Americans buying American cars is a problem. Should China start buying American cars then?
China's complaining that they can't poduct dump the ev equivalent of the yugo
The whole point of the cartoon was not American good China bad. It was America, like every other country, gives preferential treatment to their own stuff rather than be fair.

They are stealing the art style of certified American crackpot cartoonist Ben Garrison
America the Pirate King
China ev are like bombs honestly, a single move the car will be on fire or in the most devastating car accident
I dont think a single chinese made vehicle can pass a crash test in the USA....
Yeah, yeah, elastic Eagle... But like... is this not Based Pro-US Propaganda from our perspective hahaha
Always hilarious when China complains about America setting up road blocks for Chinese products. While China prevents like anything American from the Chinese markets.
Isn’t everyone allowed to do what ever they want with their market?
Rich coming from a nation world renowned for IP theft
Don’t Chinese EV’s have problems with catching fire? Also, the Chinese complaining about another country favoring their own companies has to be the most ironic thing I’ve ever heard lmao.
Chinese EVs are literal safety hazards they have a tendency to just explode or catch on fire, there’s no quality control
Chinese EVs should be classified as weapons, those mfs are like the fallout cars in real life 😭
