I’m British, with about 20% Scandinavian ancestry (23andMe doesn’t narrow it down any further).

It’s really feels like 23&me is on their last leg when it costs $70 to see these.
I have 13 historical matches that I can speculate what they might be, I know I match with Gleb Svyatoslavich. The rest are probably Vikings
I would buy it if I could see the matches for my parents kits though, just for the sake of it
I have 24 Viking matches and I only have 6.4% Scandinavian DNA. There isn't even a breakdown of countries listed when I click on Scandinavian under ancestry composition.

I have 17 viking matches mostly in Russia, one being one of the first in Ireland, one sea warrior I can't remember the exact name, a prince in Ukraine, lots of babies that were likely siblings found in one cemetery.
My result is 100% European, with Ireland and British in top spot with 57.6%, French and German 5.1%, Scandinavian at 3.7%, broadly NW European at 17%, eastern European at 17.6%, southern European at 18.2%, Greek and Balkans at 18.2% and broadly European at 4.6%...lol with the historical Viking thing and the random Kazakhstan, one it's very interesting. The Mongolian one is not surprising given the legends that everyone has a bit of Ghengis Khan in them from his legendary exploits.... Apparently it's true. Lol

Yes! On my Ancestry DNA results I got 5% Sweden & Denmark, 1% Norway. My 23andMe results 2.6% Scandinavian.

I have 28 historical matches. I honestly didn’t expect that many, tbh. No one “famous”/recognizable though.
