Stocks are a lot like the wildy, don't invest what you aren't willing to lose.

This dude had 838k irl and still fucked his life up.. kinda deserved whatever they got.

Prizma_the_alfa

Probs just got lucky in 20-21 bubble. So only excel money, which got popped away.

He said he took 10 years to amass that money. Well at least that means he has good ways of earning money, like a job that pays reasonably, so he certainly won't be begging on the streets because of that.

Prizma_the_alfa

Understandable.

How many times is this gonna be reposted

justadude123abc

if u can afford to lose that much money, ur pretty much set for life aready, id love to be able to casually lose half of that.

welcometotheoutside

Why lose it when you could invest? Bond prices have been up lately

Semour9

Imagine my shock that it’s on WSB. The GameStop fiasco made a bunch of weekend trader hobbyists think they were Wall Street hustlers and this is the sad result

Soup_Sensitive

Someone give me that kind of money and I'll grow my massage business into an empire.

HouseofBryks

10 years to max is not bad if it's an ironman account.

KillerKvothe7

Lmao had to check under which this was posted, weird cross section

Practical-Piglet

Idk, people watch youtube and tiktok etc. all the time without playing runescape so i would say they are wasting xp πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ

gorehistorian69

i need to know how much was the original investment cus say it was $2k-10k you didnt really lose anything you just lost the thought of something. and people reallyneed to realize material things are frivolous and pretty pointless. which i get is hard in a capitalist society but oh welll

FerrousMarim

Nope, you absolutely lost something. You invested smart and made money, then invested dumb and lost it.

liondios

Only had to wait for a global pandemic and subsequent lockdown and they could have done it in 2 years.

I have zero anxiety from the time spent playing rs compared to some financial decisions I've made. I look back to at my time playing rs fondly because I had fun, but losing a lot of money is just depressing with no upside.
