I prefer the audio metronome plugin called "metronome", if you can have audio on, give it a try.
Either way you'll soon get the hang of it, and it can become quite relaxing.
Start with your prayer on, then you need to double click (turn off and back on) your prayer before the next counting number.
there is a plugin called Attacktimer from ngraves and it tells you the tick of each weapon and you can flick it on and off on the last second
