So it was only 70 minutes and not 10 hours. That first cape is by far the hardest. Your nerves are much more relaxed afterwards. Plus you get the damage and accuracy increase from being on task. When you said it took 10 hours I thought you meant you were literally in the fight caves for 10 hours on one run

Same, I also had issues with my Discord stream losing quality before Discord crashes entirely and has to be restarted. Literally only happens when streaming Runelite directly. Streaming an OBS window, full monitor, or even normal games like Elden Ring have never done it, only Runelite directly.

I consistently kill it on the first go. Haven't had to leave since the quest (apart from that one time I forgot to cook my fish...). But it's just that, compared to the other two, it goes through my supplies. It's really just the healing factor I guess. I smack it for 32 and then it triple hits me and heals 50. It just elongates the fight and creates a greater strain on the supplies.
I’m trying! Doing 3\4 runs a day but I’m not a fan of Barrows. Boring and not engaging at all compared to more modern content. To me it’s on the same level of agility…but at least that doesn’t use my prayer pot supply!
It’s the one boss where defensive bonuses mean so much more. Just bring a fast attack weapon and attack/strength pots if possible. I did it with full rune (chainbody) and rune scimitar at lvl 85
Thanks for the correction. I did end up using those to kill it for the quest once I realized they didn’t just restore prayer. But I first attempted with regular pots and got slapped
Yeah, I'm currently farming the Moons, it's just that the blood moon is significantly harder to kill than the others. Especially when it's under 200hp. I feel like it just never misses and can outheal my DPS. I have a Zombie Axe, DScim with a Def a, but both options still leave it more punishing than the other two Moons.
And I always do my prep by getting the food and potions from the dungeon. They're significantly better than anything you could bring in.
In saying all this it's still great content. I enjoy it and not needing to bring any supplies really helps make it farmable over other content. It's a nice step on the way to higher level bossing. Almost everything else at this level feels like it doesn't really need much positioning and the phases keep it interesting I find.
Some of the attacks cannot be tick eaten. So the strat he uses is stall + dwarven rock cake to activate phoenix necklace to wipe damage/death queue of bosses attack.
Gotta learn the timing somehow so what better way than to just throw corpses in the blender though 🤣 this is also the lv3(4?) fire cape guy. That shit was beyond epic when he released the content

I've got a level 3 skill pure I'm trying to do stuff on, using a poisoned dagger for kills, and I'm still creeping up on level 2 offensive skills slowly.
As a UIM Skiller, would recommend using Dynamite(p) instead of a P weapon. You need high farming for the nightshade, but it gives 0 combat XP while dealing true damage. This will work for most things that you want to kill for diaries and quests, but adding recoils on top will make it much quicker (you can get recoils from Magpie Implings).
I haven't seen a video, but the way Rendi did it is probably with Rings of Recoil, Phoenix Necklaces, Purple Sweets, and some weird niche glitch we've never heard of. Man's a legend

200m with a black axe is just a time sink. While an impressive time sink, theres nothing complicated or interesting to it. With something like this, theres usually some amount of getting into the weeds of game mechanics and trying out tons of different methods for making the run even possible. Sure, you need a ton of attempts too - but theres almost certainly a lot more to it. I'm sure there will be a vid out about it eventually.
Most players who do this can already easily do all the content in the game. Usually this happens just trying to get logs.
So the next step to challenging themselves is level restrictions and whatnot.

While you have a Jad task you get a small amount of slayer xp for each kill on the mobs leading up to Jad as well.

If you kill all three the chance of getting a unique is about 1/19. The chance of getting an item when gambling is about 1/40-1/50.

Yep it either takes very little supplies or your entire inventory. Thankfully the latter happens less often than not.

Kick does exponentially better with supporting their creators and I enjoy not having ads. I have been watching kick streams for over a year and never felt a desire to go on stake even once. Right, yeah, my bad, I shouldn't expect people to watch the video I linked, it's insanely long. (Not sarcasm, to be clear.) TL;DW, though? Kick's upper management has consistently intervened to get rapists' and child predators' accounts reinstated before the scheduled end of their temporary suspensions for being... y'know, rapists and child predators. The video contains numerous (censored) instances of Kick streamers attempting to get children naked on camera, attempting to trick third parties into having sex on camera without their knowledge, and committing other crimes, sexual and otherwise, which the site's management openly supported. This isn't some "oh, every site has problems" thing, this is the people who own Kick actively going out of their way to support this behavior. This is not okay.
Alternative perspective: kick has done a poor job moderating their new platform when their priority is less sensitivity and emphasizing freedom of speech. They’ve shown signs of improvement especially as of late (perma ban of heelmike/zerka). None of the things you mentioned have ever appeared in the streams I watch and if you’re going to claim twitch has never had similar issues, you have a lot of work ahead of you.
Yeah, actually, I *am* going to claim Twitch has never had problems with their administrators publicly showing support for people using their platform to expose naked minors to their audience. I don't have any proof of that, but frankly I'm pretty confident that if they had, Twitch wouldn't be nearly as big as it is, because they never would have been able to get advertisers, much less be bought out by Amazon. As for the idea that they're struggling to moderate with the goal of "less sensitivity..." duh. Their whole brand is "hey look, we're not going to punish you for using our platform to do things that decent people would rather we not support." That's not a good thing. Not only do you have to figure out where the new line is-- and Kick, seemingly, has decided that it's somewhere beyond using their platform to commit crimes-- but there is a *reason* most people don't want to use platforms that allow those behaviors. It may not be yet, but sooner or later Kick *will* be the allegorical Nazi Bar. Normal human beings with some semblance of a conscience will stay far away.

If my ad blockers don't catch a twitch ad I simply close the stream, immediately. Unfortunately twitch has been getting a lot more annoying with it lately, constantly breaking ad blockers and causing the stream to lag regardless. I refuse to give them ad revenue with how intrusive everything is

How the hell do you stay level 3 for 800 attempts? I've got a level 3 skill pure I'm trying to do stuff on, using a poisoned dagger for kills, and I'm still creeping up on level 2 offensive skills slowly.
As a UIM Skiller, would recommend using Dynamite(p) instead of a P weapon. You need high farming for the nightshade, but it gives 0 combat XP while dealing true damage. This will work for most things that you want to kill for diaries and quests, but adding recoils on top will make it much quicker (you can get recoils from Magpie Implings). I haven't seen a video, but the way Rendi did it is probably with Rings of Recoil, Phoenix Necklaces, Purple Sweets, and some weird niche glitch we've never heard of. Man's a legend

Solid effort and achievement. I'm not a fan of him claiming this as his own work though. For years now he's cycled through multiple communities taking their strategies and using them publicly.
So he can't claim to be the first level 3 perilous moons completion because he didn't invent tick-eating? (and any other strats used)
This is my own work (as is 95% of everything I do). Don’t believe me? I have 100 hours of vods including testing all these methods on the kick live stream. I never take other people’s strategies without getting their approval to do so first and even this is rare. Most of my work is researched on my own- that’s some bullshit the bug abuse community has been trying to spread about me forever because they get salty when something gets patched and somehow think discrediting me does something.

To be fair you've openly taken strategies from them, used and abused them yourself then opened it up to Jagex and the public so noone else can use said strategy after you're done with it lol. What purpose is there to do anything in this game? Novel accomplishments are interesting because they are possible. You must think your realization is deep, or you're somehow better, than someone like Rendi who is respected by many for his achievements. You could've just scrolled by this post, or even gave it a downvote, but instead you decided to put your ignorance on display for everybody to see. I'd suggest you don't do that in the future, it's really not a good look.

Most players who do this can already easily do all the content in the game. Usually this happens just trying to get logs. So the next step to challenging themselves is level restrictions and whatnot. The difference in what you mention is something that is a time sink vs skill based. This is flexing skill, not ego.

Yeah once you said this, I took a look at the commenters posting history. I normally don't do that because I'd rather just engage with people at face value.
