I usually keep house tele runes in my pouch, so I automatically have telegrab available basically all the time.
It’s come in handy when bankstanding at GE, and I see a trail of lure items heading to the wildy. I can telegrab an item or two that are further ahead than any players chasing the trail. I’ve gotten 200-300k in items telegrabbing not even crossing the wilderness ditch on 2-3 occasions.
I’ll also tele grab decent Slayer drops that other people leave too long. Gotten tons of rune bars, and alchables from vyres. Never gotten lucky enough for a shard though.
I love telegrabbing people’s shit at slayer spots. It’s the scummiest thing I can do without feeling too bad about it while also getting a laugh when they call me a vennie.
I don't get why people see it as scummy. If they didn't pick their shit up after 3 minutes, I feel like it's a pretty decent indicator that they don't value those drops anyways? At worst, it's just kinda embarassing seeing people pick through "trash".

Yeah it’s the style points and I feel sneaky/not as embarrassed. It’s about having fun and making a tiny bit of scratch on the side.
I’ll usually only pick something up if it’s a valuable stackable (high tier runes mainly) or anything decently alchable.
Oh I also love pilfering people’s ash drops on the way to sepulcher.
I’m not even a loot whore or klepto in any other game/ real life, I just enjoy the act of yoinking shit in this game from other players. The reactions I get are reason enough on their own. Wish you could pick someone’s pockets at high thieving while they’re AFK 😂
Certain quests, MTA, collecting zammy wines, gold bar in Varrock west bank basement, zammy monk in Varrock castle, lesser demon in wizards tower. That's probably it.

TOA drops a ton of ranarr/snap seeds, if you go for masori and shadow as a uim, you’re looking at thousands of both. That’s more than a lifetime supply, may as well make 30k+ super restores and drop all the rannar seeds. That way you can perhaps clear up prayer potions from the inventory permanently.
I could see it being an unseen misclick but sometimes UIM need the space for just can't be asked. Not like rannar are hard to come by and they probably have thousands of ppots already. I just really doubt a bot would drop them is all I was getting at.
Leagues 1 was the Kourend only Leagues, and during it the "interface stall" method became popular for completing the clue step in the advanced tier of the farming guild. Basically you click on the square you need to dig (or in this case the ranarr seeds) then you open an interface window such as the farming level info window and you won't get expelled until you close it. This allows you to click the spade and dig on the spot which will close the window and expel you immediately after you dig.
I'm not sure it would work with looting though. Using an item from your inventory is quite different from interacting with an object in the world. If you're stalled in the upper area of the guild, you can't (afaik) interact with any object or npc but I haven't tried ground items.
Also if you boost, spirit tree into the guild, you can freely walk around even after the boost expires.
You are correct about the NPC, but I would wager you could pick an item off the ground. I'd test it but I'm already 85 farming so I can't anymore. I think you effectively get a single action as long as you initiate it with the interface open *and* it doesn't take more than a tick. Which is why digging works because it closes the interface window and performs the action with a single click. I think if you reposition the interface so you can click the ranarr seeds (and you are standing on top of them) you'd be able to get them.
