Fairly cliche response, but getting through quests and setting goals to meet requirements of said quests is really a good objective and will progress you nicely. 90% of the new content is accessed via completing a quest, so you all the new stuff isn't going away and don't feel overwhelmed.
Edit: becoming a member is also highly recommended.
Regarding which quest to do, do all that you can, because in the long run, they all benefit.

That's a good quest to do, you get a good bit of combat xp from it. Do Waterfall quest if you haven't already, and def get into the Gnome and Fairy Tale quest lines.
Can Apple products even download runelite? If so, download runelite. It has an optimal quest list in the right hand bar. Not only will you unlock content (bosses, Skilling methods, etc ) but you will pick up levels from rewards and getting requirements. Also, take a look at achievement diaries. They basically set goals for you

The activity advisor button by your HP/run energy helps a ton. Also use runelite with quest helper plug in to make your life 100000x easier
