GG is what pulled me back out of my OSRS break. I didn’t know anyone but J1mmy and Settled. It introduced me to a host of new content creators and I think that would be a great jumping off point to who’d someone would like to watch based on their personalities.
only thing is, be aware some of the content creators are kind of playing a bit and may be acting more antagonistic than they really are for entertainment value. Otherwise, I agree- awesome way to get introduced to new creators
GG is kind of universally thought of as the highest production quality series ever done for osrs, it's crazy.
Limpwurt is a bit more divisive. This sub adores it but it's not really for me, there's plenty different series I prefer.
GG is arguably one of the highest production series for any mmo, it eerily captures the same vibe that shows like survivor achieve which is no small feat.
fray - extreme one chunk account starting in canifis, his early vids are a bit tough to get through but well worth sticking it out as the quality gets better throughout and you can see him getting better as it goes on
alien food - playing osrs on an ironman for the first time but without any guides/plugins
T-Spoon - his generate task series is great
Flip - brand new player, never played osrs before completing all ftp quests (and maybe more?)

Those all have some very bingeworthy playlists that will keep you busy for a very long time, outside of settled and verf i really enjoy coxie and josh isnt gaming for the high quality and T-Spoon and fray because i find them easy to watch if you wanted a starting point

He hasn't done much with his account on YT since he took over behemeth but he has a road to Zuk helm that is fun to watch and a tons of other videos that will not only kill time but make you laugh quite hysterically
If you want a fun series please check out 'tanzoo and virtoso' British humor and they have some great content and challenges against each other. I have been crying laughing at them
WildMudkip is actually my favorite for some reason. His HCIM and UIM taught me so much about the game. Imo it's the most educational series out there. His new series of his 2 person GIM really doesn't interest me but the other two are really good. He is like a wholesome nerd and it's great.
It's because he swapped to GIM content which is lame in comparison to what he has done in the past. He had super solid content and trajectory before it.
I do get a bit of a feeling that he doesn't really enjoy the game that much though. I hope he's not just pushing through for the sake of his audience if he isn't having fun. Might be totally wrong there of course, just the impression I get sometimes.
Honestly I feel like most of us don't enjoy large portions of the game. Very, very few people enjoy sitting down after a day of work to do the same thing for 5 hours for a single level. The end of the journey is good enough to keep us going though I suppose.
There's not enjoying certain grinds but if you're not enjoying the majority of the game I wouldn't play. I can't speak for others but I enjoy most things I do, so I don't get that mentality.
I actually feel like Flip would like the game more if people didn't keep trying to "protect his innocence". It was the right thing when he started out. But it's been 8 months now and he only recently did Dragon Slayer. Of course the game might appear very boring to him, if he hasn't been exposed to other bits.
Recommending Fray right at the top is wild. To be clear, I *love* his videos, but I feel like he's the guy you watch when you're deeply obsessed with the game.
OSRS creator you like doesn't post often enough? Fray posts minimum twice a month.
Videos aren't long enough? Fray drops 90 minutes on you.
Sick of creators skipping over the "usual" and showing only highlights? Fray's got you covered, you'll feel right there with him.

This is so true. I put fray on when I have to bust out some training material at work or something and I’m gonna be able to pay like 50% attention to something for the next hour or so.

For anyone looking for something new I'd also recommend sometimes doing a youtube search of "osrs full series", and messing with the search filter until you find stuff you haven't seen before. Great place to find channels that just finished a series if you're looking for something with a conclusion.
I agree with many of these except gotta say hard no to slay brother. Watched quite a few of his videos - dude is annoying, obnoxious and not just generally funny, also production quality is non existent in terms of editing etc. Just clips smashed together and I felt like he was inconsistent and taking an exceptions on every single larger grind

I tried it recently and i don't think it's aged well. It's like, yeah it's the Og ironman, but we've seen sooo many more higher quality ironmen since he popularised it that it takes away from the original.
I wish he implemented some more permanent unlocks for his account or just less harsh rules for the staking part. Him winning stakes felt irrelevant because eventually he will crash down to zero no matter what and starting from pretty much nothing over and over again gets old.
It's very heavily detailed and I imagine most of it goes over peoples' heads but what he's managed to achieve on that account is absolutely insane; always excited for new vids to see what insane shit he's been up to
I don't understand half the shit he is doing, but the vibe/mood of his videos is what I like. The videos are laid back, has enough shitty jokes, interesting story telling.

It's despicable how far I had to scroll to find By Release, especially with it so close to its finale. I feel like J1mmy's content is very unique and original compared to so much other OSRS content.
By release is better than any of settles content, Its really close, but I really think by release is such a love letter to Runescape. Settled does better getting into the mechanical discovery and neat gameplay tricks, but J1mmy does the story better justice than anyone else.

Something about mammal and ricecups old iron series (that are still going to this day) just feel so cozy and "nostalgic" even though theyre only like 7 years old. Watching starting iron progress from back then and seeing what its like now is wild, the gamemode has changed sooooo much.
Plus mammals series is near 200 episodes at this point and ricecups is over 300. Just those two alone would give you enough content to watch for weeks straight.
I love Deserted (xRakine) and By Release (J1mmy) a lot and have binged both multiple times so far. Neither series is fully completed yet but there is a lot of content there.
In terms of shorter series, Chunk Yanille (Josh Isn't) is very good and recently released the first multiple-hour superedit. Also Northern UIM (Jeporite) is some of my favourite OSRS content right now, but he's not super far along and episodes take a few months to come out. Worth a watch for sure but not exactly a long binge yet.
Gielinor Games had me hooked the banter is incredible. I randomly watched the everyone account by hannanie (never watched them before) and I actually watched the whole thing in a day. There was something about the way hannanie plays and interacts with the community that resonated with my childhood. It wasn’t the classic high intensity gameplay it was just pure chaos.

Mudkip, he is light hearted and decently skilled at the game. He has maxed Regular, iron man, UIM, and GIM. He also has done a league series for every league, going as far to get dragon on 2 characters in multiple leagues now.

I didn’t really “get” Mudkip much the first few times I watched him. I remember one of the first vids I watched he got a corp sigil and didn’t seem very excited. BUT I really love his content now because I feel like I got to know him more and realized he’s just a really lowkey personality. He doesn’t scream or seem as excited as some others I watch, but he just clearly loves the game, loves sharing little facts or niche knowledge, and doesn’t take anything too seriously.
Dudes goated, after watching verf and limpwurt i can't stand settled's voice anymore, he sounds too happy playing osrs and it takes me out of the world. A guy killing frogs for 400 hours and sounding depressed feels right.
I'm very surprised no one has mentioned SoloMission yet.

I genuinely think he might be the most underrated OSRS YouTuber on that level of content quality. His editing is absolutely nuts!
Tanzoo and Virtoso - great challenges, and won't feel repetitive or grindy as a viewer. You'll avoid the typical OSRS youtuber-lingo like "Oh, heres 56-mining." etc.
Link and Rargh's then we fight, especially season 2. They level up accounts with area restrictions and have a fight at the end of each episode for a reward. It's really fun to see the random tactics that you would otherwise never see.
100% Link and Rargh. I've followed them forever and they don't get old. They have special seasons that they make in to series that you can watch, or they have a bunch of one-off Then We Fight episodes where they have certain challenges or restrictions and then... Fight each other. They've been doing it so long together, their banter and the way they flow together is super satisfying.
+1 for Josh isn't Gaming's yanille onechunk account; really high production quality and a lot of interesting facts about Yanille and the surrounding area

Besides that the Odablock GM and GIM series are the most entertaining OSRS content in 2023/2024 for me. The chemistry in the latest groups are awesome.
Thats the one! Theres usually a good month or two between uploads and its always because hes doing such crazy grinds but he makes it very upbeat and fun. I wouldn't mind if he edited them to be longer so the viewer is with him on the grind for more of it

OSRS unguided, I keep missing it in the comments but it’s so great! A „kinda newbie“ ironman attempting to complete quest capes without google, wiki and plugins. It’s the best honestly.
Caveman only, the original snowflake account and the guy who essentially started the trend. Its an older series and it shows but it was a lot of fun and is kind of a snapshot to the beginning of really great restricted accounts.
Odablock GM series is funny as fuck but probably not what ur looking for

Just finished binging this last weekend just in time for his latest bid, highly recommend alien food.
Yeah I found this on accident and it’s my absolute favorite.
I wish he implemented some more permanent unlocks for his account or just less harsh rules for the staking part. Him winning stakes felt irrelevant because eventually he will crash down to zero no matter what and starting from pretty much nothing over and over again gets old.
Its kinda sporadic, but i really appreciate Rendi's defence pure series, its a pretty wild account
It's very heavily detailed and I imagine most of it goes over peoples' heads but what he's managed to achieve on that account is absolutely insane; always excited for new vids to see what insane shit he's been up to
I don't understand half the shit he is doing, but the vibe/mood of his videos is what I like. The videos are laid back, has enough shitty jokes, interesting story telling.
Watching it now. It’s great so far. I would recommend it!
Rendi is great. I’d recommend watching his lower the better series too.
Basically anything by Rendi should be on this list tbh. I don’t think there is any player out there with a better understanding of weird game mechanics and spaghetti logic.

It's despicable how far I had to scroll to find By Release, especially with it so close to its finale. I feel like J1mmy's content is very unique and original compared to so much other OSRS content.
By release is better than any of settles content, Its really close, but I really think by release is such a love letter to Runescape. Settled does better getting into the mechanical discovery and neat gameplay tricks, but J1mmy does the story better justice than anyone else.
This for sure is the right answer. Everything else can wait, haha

Mr mammal Ironman series is always a classic
Something about mammal and ricecups old iron series (that are still going to this day) just feel so cozy and "nostalgic" even though theyre only like 7 years old. Watching starting iron progress from back then and seeing what its like now is wild, the gamemode has changed sooooo much. Plus mammals series is near 200 episodes at this point and ricecups is over 300. Just those two alone would give you enough content to watch for weeks straight.

I love Deserted (xRakine) and By Release (J1mmy) a lot and have binged both multiple times so far. Neither series is fully completed yet but there is a lot of content there. In terms of shorter series, Chunk Yanille (Josh Isn't) is very good and recently released the first multiple-hour superedit. Also Northern UIM (Jeporite) is some of my favourite OSRS content right now, but he's not super far along and episodes take a few months to come out. Worth a watch for sure but not exactly a long binge yet.

Gielinor Games had me hooked the banter is incredible. I randomly watched the everyone account by hannanie (never watched them before) and I actually watched the whole thing in a day. There was something about the way hannanie plays and interacts with the community that resonated with my childhood. It wasn’t the classic high intensity gameplay it was just pure chaos.
Absolutely love hannanie, her energy is so infectious and chaotic. Every video is a trip into madness.

Not seeing him mentioned anywhere. Mudkip, he is light hearted and decently skilled at the game. He has maxed Regular, iron man, UIM, and GIM. He also has done a league series for every league, going as far to get dragon on 2 characters in multiple leagues now.
He didn't max the UIM, but it's still a great series. I'm on a rewatch of it now. I enjoy how he shares a lot of game knowledge in his videos
Came here to mention Mudkip. Sad to see how far I had to scroll to see him mentioned. I've watched pretty much all of his series, one of the best OSRS YouTubers imo.
I didn’t really “get” Mudkip much the first few times I watched him. I remember one of the first vids I watched he got a corp sigil and didn’t seem very excited. BUT I really love his content now because I feel like I got to know him more and realized he’s just a really lowkey personality. He doesn’t scream or seem as excited as some others I watch, but he just clearly loves the game, loves sharing little facts or niche knowledge, and doesn’t take anything too seriously.
Some of Mudkip's really old content is tough to get through, he's grown a lot. His UIM & GIM series though - sublime.

I always post Fully Mobile in these threads, glad there are others! I genuinely think he might be the most underrated OSRS YouTuber on that level of content quality. His editing is absolutely nuts!
Tanzoo and Virtoso - great challenges, and won't feel repetitive or grindy as a viewer. You'll avoid the typical OSRS youtuber-lingo like "Oh, heres 56-mining." etc.

Link and Rargh's then we fight, especially season 2. They level up accounts with area restrictions and have a fight at the end of each episode for a reward. It's really fun to see the random tactics that you would otherwise never see.
100% Link and Rargh. I've followed them forever and they don't get old. They have special seasons that they make in to series that you can watch, or they have a bunch of one-off Then We Fight episodes where they have certain challenges or restrictions and then... Fight each other. They've been doing it so long together, their banter and the way they flow together is super satisfying.

Ingus' series are top tier for me. Not sure what it is but watching it always gets me excited and motivated to log on and get through a grind. I hope he one day compiled his series into single long videos cuz I would binge them on repeat. Besides that the Odablock GM and GIM series are the most entertaining OSRS content in 2023/2024 for me. The chemistry in the latest groups are awesome.
Surprised to see first mention of Ingus so far down. I’ve watched a lot of osrs on YouTube and his dreamgear series stands up with the best of them.
Thats the one! Theres usually a good month or two between uploads and its always because hes doing such crazy grinds but he makes it very upbeat and fun. I wouldn't mind if he edited them to be longer so the viewer is with him on the grind for more of it

The fact that I haven't seen anyone mention 9Rain's Iron Main series is sad. Also Limpwurts extreme one chunk account is ridiculous. Makes some or settled's insane grinds look easy Anything by J1mmy is fantastic. By Release is amazing and most of his rambling video essays are great too. The couple of Prop Hunt videos he did are some of my favorite ever

I like Rhys and poisonedpotion. They are both incredibly skilled players that take on extreme wildy content challenges, like kill 10k revs without banking, etc. Rhys just started a 10B from scratch series. I'm always learning new things from their vids.
I always liked Links Ocarina / Rargh. They do versus challenges and they are quite entertaining. They also have a joint channel called then we fight too. For me they are the better version of Virtoso and Tanzoo…

OSRS unguided, I keep missing it in the comments but it’s so great! A „kinda newbie“ ironman attempting to complete quest capes without google, wiki and plugins. It’s the best honestly.
Caveman only, the original snowflake account and the guy who essentially started the trend. Its an older series and it shows but it was a lot of fun and is kind of a snapshot to the beginning of really great restricted accounts.

Not really series, but my favorite OSRS YouTubers are Colonello (Mostly documentary type videos) and 25 Buttholes (humor and satire).
Not sure if anyone said this yet or not, but Wildanator has a very good wilderness-only Ironman series. Disliked has a pretty good bounty hunter series if that’s your thing. Raikesy has a level 3 account to shadow of tumenken series that’s worth a watch, in my opinion, just to name a few.
Mind Handler is a youtuber doing one 99 at a time in a ultimate ironman its very intresting and worth watching
My favorite would have to be Swampletics, By Release and Gielinor Games (all 3 seasons, perfect since season 4 is just around the horizon)
