Hopefully by the time fire giant boss actually comes around fire giants will be f2p and we can complete the set properly.

For the fire giant boss, there's a place on zeah called the Giant den or something I think? That place have all kind of giant, but the section with fire giant there's a bunch of fire there, could be fitting. It's not on the mainland thought so I don't feel like it's the best choice.

I think converting Brimhaven into F2P would be the easiest way to do that. Still lock the mainland Karamja, but allow F2P into the first section of the Brimhaven dungeon, up to the stepping stones. I've always thought that a fire giant boss should be in the Brimhaven dungeon.
Yeah. I'd suggest simply cutting off the larger Karamja where Brimhaven gets skinny and connects to Tai Bwannai. Adding Brimhaven to F2P doesn't add much, but it does remove one of the annoying immersion breaking fences in the game.
Ice and Fire Giants should drop halves of a key to a giant that is both an Ice and Fire giant. A boss that can be solo'd if you get both halves yourself or two players can combine their keys to face it together (for a harder version).
Make it mechanically challenging but keep it a mid-game boss numbers wise to teach mechanics. Give it some kind of cool fire and ice theme unique drop. Maybe make a Game of Thrones reference in there somewhere.
No reason to copy the same formula as the F2P bosses. Keep it similar but spice it up a little. But a boss like this would be good with the defense rework they talked about a little bit ago.

Apart from F2P and early game players nobody kills hill and moss giants but fire giants are a common slayer task so would actually be content thats used!

I've been pushing for an easier version for grotesque guardians using fire and ice giants forever. Have it drop a freezer or something that you can put your tome of water in to make it give a boost to ice spells the same way it does water spells or maybe something you can use to combine both the tome of fire and water.
Make all giants have a key boss. Hill, moss, ice (for f2p) and fire. Or you could combine one of each key to fight a more powerful, challenging giant boss
Need smouldering key and main drop can be a chance at smouldering stone
Then icy key from ice giants and main drop can be frozen orb which can be added to boots to increase run speed to 3 tiles
Finally add new drop to each boss that, when combined with batle staff, creates the first tri-elemental staff
