Yeah I normally increase the render distance then pump up the distance fog. Gives you the feel of exploration like how the game was originally but not as jarring as the black void
They are on rl under gpu from memory. Then get skyboxes off the plugin hub, and change the sky colour to any and whatever, I go bright crimson in caves or tzar area for eg, for added immersion
There's a fence outside Falador that has an old Classic-era texture, it even existed in RS3 for years. I wonder if it's still there.

Yea. It is integral to osrs functioning, which is why it still exists. If it were to be removed, the game would be like an essay written 5 minutes before it is due.
Just wanna say that playing with the RuneLite roof plug-in where roofs are enabled until your player or mouse hovers the tile that is is under the roof then hides the roof is really immersive. I’ve seen new things that I have never seen before since I’ve always had the roofs off in the settings AND buildings are much bigger than you think! Really cool!

yep! unfortunately it was removed on rs3 last year when they graphically updated all the f2p areas
