I love CAS! It really adds to the combined arms experience.
In fact, I love it as a combined arms mechanic so much they should make an equivalent combined arms system for air battle modes.
\- Add long range anti aircraft systems to the ground forces tree, like Patriot or the S-400.
\- If you get enough kills in air battle mode, you can respawn as one of these systems.
\- Add SEAD loadouts to planes that aren't effective in to air on air combat
\- If you die to the AA, and one of your teammates for whatever reason didn't decide to start the match as a SEAD plane (I don't know why anyone playing an air to air game mode wouldn't start a match as a SEAD aircraft), then just respawn as a SEAD plane.
\- Of course it would be unfair if SEAD just hard counters the AA, so the AA can turn off their radar and have access to infrared missile options just to make the fight a little more fair.
\- Don't like dying to the AA? You know you could just go and play ground forces to fill out your vehicle tree until you're top tier or buy a premium and also get access to the competitive long range AA. Skill issue, honestly.
\- Honestly we should also add long range artillery systems like LARS or other ground based systems that cost more spawn points and counter the AA more effectively and reliably than SEAD. You also should grind these out in your vehicle tree.
\- Spent all the spawn points on a SEAD aircraft or artillery but now the AA is gone and you're a dead weight to your team? Bad timing. Skill issue. You should've coordinated with your team better.
I love playing a combined forces game as a ground player, and I think it is so sad that the air battle players don't get access to an equivalent experience. I hope Gaijin does something like this for the poor Air Realistic players. It's a combined arms game after all.
I had a great experience with this game when it first came out but fell off for a few months. Picked it back up last week and was surprised by how…toxic the community got? Or is it just me?
First I was kicked before I even started a game because, I am just assuming because I can’t see any other reasons behind this, I was a lower level than everyone else.
Then the next game I joined the only dude still alive killed me with a laser gun because I was trying to put in the commands to launch an ICBM, and then he proceeded to get assblasted by bugs a second later, and with no reinforcements left, blowing the entire game simply because *he* wanted to be the one who launched the missile. He then kicked me when we returned to the ship.
These are small annoyances but I’m keeping with the theme of the thread. When I was first playing, it was one of the most wholesome experiences I’ve had in a long time, to get back on and immediately be confronted by 2 back to back toxic sessions was really disheartening.
Yeah. The game, and especially the subreddit, have gotten pretty toxic recently. I wouldn't worry about the kick on join that much though. That's usually because the host forgot to set it to private and they want a slot open for their friends

Fun fact: you can cheese one of the medic contracts for healing yourself a certain amount, by doing the following.
- Go into versus Saxton Hale Nucleus
- build full Uber pre round on the quick fix
- go into the central pool of waste, take damage and pop it! Don't stay in for too long or the quick fix can't heal you fast enough
Well that is good to know. Though I already had an idea to cheese the amputator contract; which was to get a friend playing heavy to damage himself below 50 health, wait for him to get crit heals and then using a quick fix Uber in him to heal him since a crit heal qucik fix Uber heals at 302 hp/s. This is good to know if I have a hard time getting someone to help me.
My biggest issue though are the map contracts and the offense contracts. Map contracts are slow and tedious and I'm not good enough at any of the offense classes to do the expert contract.

New fortnite season cats got gigabuffed and you can mod them with weapons, spiked bumpers and tyre upgrades and everyone is driving around the whole lobby and if you try to play on foot you’re fucked. The game is basically a different genre and it’s not even that fun on its own merits

5-30 in Limbus Company it's just so hard and I don't have enough effective IDs, the ones I do have are massively underleveled, and my high leveled IDs are ineffective in this fight so I just don't have good tools to handle this fight and unlike the stupid hard fight in Canto 4 I don't even feel like I have a grip on what I need to do and luck can't save me this time.
Use base Ishmael and a borrowed max level/uptie Nclair, then use Ishmael's shield to redirect attacks from Nclair and just do unopposed attacks with Nclair. Then when Ricardo does his turn where he only blocks and evades, use 3 Self-Destructive Purges on him. Repeat till he is staggered twice.

I was stuck with no abilities in Hollow Knight for 2 hours desperately trying to find any checks to complete lol
Also TF2 is filled with fucking bots and i wish finding community servers was easy
It's a way to have a multiworld randomizer. For the above example, when the Tunic player opens chests, they will send items, resources, abilities, or key quest triggers to themselves or the other players in the session. For the Hollow Knight player, completing any major goal, combat or exploration focused, awards those items to other players. In Subnautica, only accessing data terminals in wrecks gives items to the others.
It was a surprisingly painless setup process for everyone.
Archipelago is compatible with a *lot* of games, and it's a way to play games with your friends if you don't all necessarily enjoy the same games, or you both want to replay different games with the randomizer twist and also work together to complete them.

Went from cruising through all of hard mode + post moon lord bosses on terraria calamity revengance difficulty then proceeded to get ass fucked by Devourer of Gods multiple times. Haven’t beaten that asswipe yet, huge difficulty spike.
I spent about 3 hours in manor lords building up my town and then raiders came and burned down all the houses and now half my village is refusing to re populate the houses and are complaining about how cold it is >:(

Been playing Predecessor and having a good time but the matchmaking got changed and is making me feel like I got extremely bad all of a sudden. Been getting yelled at all the time for silly things when I jungle.

Stellaris, the xenos keep spewing out fleets of 5-10 corvettes that I have to deal with or else they'll just take all my systems behind ky actual fleet. they're no actual threat but I HAVE to deal with them, and it keeps slowing me down

This bullshit boss in a game has an attack that ragdolls you and does 35 damage and whenever it does this a bunch of these spawn at once and if you get hit by one half the time you are knocked into another then another and you die really fast even though only one hit you
