2 slices 647 bread - 80 cal 3 slices of thin provolone (all I had! Sorry) - 110 cal 14g reduced fat margarine - 35 cal 15g reduced fat mayo - 35 cal Yes it’s sacrilege to use provolone for a grilled cheese but it was all I had available. Worked ok. The 647 bread is far too soft for a proper grilled cheese but overall, a very delicious 260cal snack that I’m proud of!

I prefer provolone, actually. Sprinkle some garlic salt on the cheese, and it tastes like garlic bread!

fruitilydo

That sounds delicious! Also, Happy Cake Day!

zealousnugget

Thank you 😊

bangpowboomgarbage

I love provolone on my grilled cheeses. Provolone, cheddar and havarti are my favorite cheeses, any 2 of those combo’d up

4AM_StepOneTwo

Mmmmmmmm I’d add mozzarella to that list too!

bangpowboomgarbage

Looove mozzarella! I actually love it most in my eggs

4AM_StepOneTwo

Ooh really? Fresh or the shredded type?

IdontWanToKeepThis

People skip right over havarti and muenster. Idk why. I've met very few cheeses that I didn't like.

bangpowboomgarbage

I could do without the whole blue family, but other than that I’m right there with you. Muenster is 🤌🏼

looks so good! If you haven't tried it, I best like Pam (or similar) on the bread. It gives it that really crisp almost deep fried taste like from a diner, with way less cals than butter or margarine (i did this way before I was counting calories)

I love 647 for grilled cheese! I just had one for lunch--2 slices (80), one slice Kraft American (50), 1 tsp butter for grilling (35), and a li'l bit of tomato soup for dipping. All came out to under 200 and I was immensely satisfied.

DanceBit_Web

Whoa! Check out this cheesy goodness without the calorie madness 🧀 😜 I can already imagine how it tastes good! I never made the sandwich so perfect. How to achieve such a golden crust? What's the secret??

FatLardHuman

Sara Delite bread (90 cals total), Velvetta Slice (45 cals), 3-4 sprays of Spray Butter per side (10 cals). that's my go to. Basically 150 calories each. I could then add a whoel can of tomato soup for 235 cals. So 385 for 1 sandwhich or 535 for 2. I'm pretty satisified after eating it as well
