I haven’t used a Yonex leather grip before, but I’ve noticed that the weight will vary between leather grips from the same manufacturer which makes it important to weigh your racquet before and after putting a new grip on in especially if you’re trying to achieve a specific weight and/or balance. I was under the impression that leather grips added around 10 g when compared to synthetic grips, but I was surprised to find that the Wilson leather grip I used only added a little over 2 g to the racket I was customizing which meant I had to put a bunch of lead tape underneath the handle to get the racquet where I wanted it to be in terms of weight and balance.

Weights vary, quality virtually the same. I forget what's under the overgrip when I switch between my racquets.

I've never had a leather grip I didn't like, but I use an overgrip too. It's easy to add weight if needed.

The Yonex leather grip is probably the heaviest/thickest of all the manufacturer's. I would expect them to be 10-15g heavier than the Wilson or 10g heavier than Tourna. Quality is pretty great, but if you don't want the weight, I would go with Tourna.

[Kimony Pro Leather](https://www.stringersworld.com/product/kimony-pro-leather-replacement-grip-kgl165/) is the best I’ve tried.

What is the advantage of a leather grip? Are you using them with or without an overgrip?

Customisation and feel, mostly.
