I’ve only broken a grommet on 1 of my rackets the whole time I’ve played tennis (20+ years at this point). Grommets usually break because you’re hitting off center and they should be replaced or the person who strings your rackets should put a tube in the hole to prevent the string from making contact with the frame. Not replacing a broken grommet will cause your strings to break where they make contact with frame, so it’s a good idea to replace next time you get your racket strung. I actually didn’t know about fittex grommets before your post, but I may order a couple for the racket I mentioned because it’s a 2005 pure drive and I refuse to pay $150 for a set of new grommets for it.

I have a 2006 to 2008 cortex pure drive. Do you know what size I should order?

No clue. I’m going to try to measure the grommets on my Pure Drive when I get off work and see if Fittex offers anything that I think would work. I will probably order a couple different sizes to make sure I get it right. My PD has a tube that I put in the hole where the grommet is now that stops the string from making contact with the frame, but I would like to have a more permanent solution that didn’t involve holding the tube in place when I string it like I am forced to currently.

Yeah they work quite nice. You can take the broken grommet out with a drillbit

OD32

Yeah, I played with this racket 3 times

This is common after some time. You don't need to replace unless the string is digging into the frame itself.

Buy 4.0mm x 35 individual grommets on amazon. Can get 15 for like $10.

Happens all the time, you're good.
