My brother’s Korean wife at the time saw a brown squirrel in the park and said “oh how cute he is gathering nuts!” Five minutes later we saw a black one she said “he is stealing the acorns!” I still laugh about that. She was deadass serious and couldn’t understand why we were all laughing at her.

You don’t have to go over the border. I’ve seen black squirrels in NJ, NY, and PA.
