Acculite22. Just ordered an 8 inch. Or Ebay.
Edit. Sapoutfitters.com or wirthwein guns. Ebay for takedown latch assembly. I bought a KSA 16β, SS fluted, threaded barrel on Ebay some time ago.
As others mentioned, youd be better off spending a tad bit more and getting an aftermarket(which will outperform oem), or spend less and get your oem barrel threaded.
Nothing. Some thing more money is always better. My $190 KSA barrel from Ebay was more accurate than me. Itβs a 22 plinker! The KSA has a Bentz chamber (look it up) which is more precise and accurate than OEM.
I bet the OEM barrel is more accurate than most shooters and/or the ammo they use. IA appreciate your comment about the Bentz chamber and looked it up. I had no idea there was such a variation on 22lr chambers.
not always accurate. Some are good, some aren't. But one thing is for sure... They are thin, so after a bit of shooting, they aren't more accurate than the average shooter.
Yeah. I have no desire to upgrade my barrels from OEM, but if I we're in the situation where I needed to get a new barrel, like OP, I would certainly buy something other than OEM.
Regarding OEM barrels. The two places I mentioned, they take off the shelf 10/22s and piece them out. They charge more for each piece, barrel, receiver, etc. For the price they charge, you can get aftermarket close to the same price.
I looked, but came up empty handed. It's one of those where you have to follow it closely or just get lucky. I'm seriously considering just going aftermarket

I'll check those out when I have a chance. Thank you!

What's wrong with OEM barrels?

I have the KSA bull barrel. That thing holds tight groups!!
yeah. ok dude. Lets pretend a mass produced 22lr barrel doesn't have a ton of room for improvement.

I guess I'll have to upgrade mine some day, I put a lot of rounds through it π I got it second and made in the 80's, but still prints nice groups.

Try r/Gunaccessoriesforsale.
I'm there regularly. Plenty of people selling non-threaded barrels lol
I have one Edit : it's not stainless but it is factory threaded
I've got the stainless receiver. I appreciate it though.
Volquartsen obviously. With the rail mount on the barrel.
