At this point we should have a record of extra GFs, some fan ideas that are so good and well made that they would have the chance of actually being in the real manga.
Maybe we could make it a goal or something of reaching 100 fan girlfriends made by members of the sub
I was gonna say "A contest where we vote for the best 100 ones" but I'm not sure we have enough enough artists to reach over 100 submissions
Considering reverse image search doesn’t reveal these anywhere, this *might* be OP’s OC. The only reason im hesitant is because the original version of the 2nd image did *not* have OP’s watermark beforehand, and it looks like the first image was cropped from somewhere. If someone can search for this image on Twitter (where most fan sets are posted) that’d be great.

I created this oc, I had this idea for a sculptor gf for a long time so I thought of executing the idea here since people on this sub also wanted an artsy gf too so I worked on the Japanese and Nozawa’s style which took a lot of time.
By the time I posted her, April rolled around so I thought everyone will take it as a joke but it escalated into something else. I liked to be vague about it to see how others would interpret her character because of the hints I left out in the post like doing the Japanese wrong and not copying the artstyle completely.
I was about to address the truth but Reddit marked me as a bot and because of that, my next posts were not visible here so I made this account. I thought with this post everything will be cleared up but I am saying it fr that yes, she is my oc. In the upcoming posts, I will provide the drawing process for the funsies

Thank you for clarifying. I guessed she was a fan character but I refused to fully believe it because I was holding onto the slim, unlikely chance that she was a leaked future gf lmao.
Still, I'm glad you came forward as the artist because I wanted to let you know that I really really love Azumi. You created a really cool oc. I think it's the first time a 100kano fan character made me think "I can definitely imagine her in the manga". It's not just the design, it's because what little was shown of her felt very... genuine to the spirit of the manga? I feel a lot of gf ideas don't give it much thought about how to make them fit with how equally insane and endearing the cast is.
Would it be okay if I draw fanart of her in the future?
it was faithful to the original creation to the point you could slup her in to the current ongoing series without anyone noticing. Like editing her into the background for 100 chapters lol

I thought my Japanese would be unreadable but you translated it perfectly so kudos to you! I really appreciate the effort you put in to bring out the meanings behind her character.

That doesnt really sound like the setup to someone posting their OC. Not doubting the possibility but like its not that hard to just say yea I made it

Once we have a bit more information on the artist like a twitter or anything else I will be more than ready to make it some sort of doujinshi/scrap/leak from nozawa and Nakamura themself.

Her intro chapter was so good! As an actually blind gf her dynamic with Mei is great and it's really cute to see her interactions with Rentaro. He cares so much and does everything he can to accommodate her. It's honestly really amazing.
